It was great day for the GAA and all of Ireland.I know a few counties did not send representatives but i feel that today has made a big impact on both sides of the border.

Overall i believe it was a better performance than last week.Darren Hughes had a good game.Owen Lennon did well in Midlfield aswell.Nice goal by Tommy Freeman.Conor McManus ok of a game.Dick Clerkon i think had an ok of a game aswell.Referee missed alot of frees.Sad though as i think it will be a long time before we get back up to Div 1 again there is alot of difficult teams in Div2 .This is how Div2 is next year:Monaghan,Galway,Derry,Tyrone,Kildare,Meath,Westmeath and Louth. So there shall be some tough games.

I believe if Monaghan lose and get relegated it shall be a long time before they get back up to Divison 1 again.

It shall be a tough game for Monaghan tomorow.Eamonn McEneaney will be without a number of key men for tomorow game.Midfielder Eoin Lennon has been ruled out of the two remaining Division One games with a calf muscle tear sustained in the last round again Down.

Darren Hughes is also expected to miss Sunday's game as he recovers from the neck injury suffered in the recent defeat to Dublin.

Vinny Corey is also likely to be ruled out by a hamstring injury and Paul Finlay is a doubt as he has a shoulder problem.

Also there is rumours that Damien Freeman as quit altogeter
