Hurling Discussion / Re: Hurling 2023

Camera panned around to the sideline and you could see the blind panic in Kinnerks face in the closing minutes of that Tipp game. It'll only take one of those 'underperforming' limerick stars to have a good game to pull them through, saying that Cork have surprised me this year so far so will be a cracking game.

and if he is on the line I'm confident that Armagh supporters in the true spirit of the GAA will remain tight lipped and focus on the football

Just read quite a detailed social media post from someone claiming to be a victim of domestic violence. Horrible reading if true.

Daisy and the 6 on prime? Wasn't to bad. A bit to polished for my liking but still enjoyable. Music wasn't to bad either

Is it too big a stretch to say some cannabis at ht might alleviate some of this?

Yes. They'd all be hugging it out mannnn!

If you can't see it you wont want to be it. My wee lad (9) has turned soccer mad out of the blue. Youtube/school/tv/Playstation/Merchadising everywhere. Every where you turn soccer is rammed down your throat.

Brighton the better team yesterday, although both teams weren't great. Possibly the fear of being beat again after midweek in the back of Utds heads. Ironically De Gea kept them in the game and looked more comfortable not playing out from the back. As said above don't think a goalkeeper is priorty. Did i read Utd had lost 7 out of there previous 8 shoot out? Some stat. League games coming fast and thick now until the end of the season. Going out of the Europa will be a blessing given the injuries and lack of depth in their squad.

young lad started playing soccer in Belfast and was very surprised at the number of clubs going with 2-3 teams at each age group at juvenile level. We are always saying there are to many GAA clubs in West Belfast. Now i'm starting to think there are enough clubs just not enough kids choosing GAA

Wasn't aware of his background much so interesting reading here. The loveable Rogue. Martin Cahill'esque'?? Plenty of those characters in Belfast as well.

Well done Tony, Lawrence and to all involved. Great to see the level of organisation behind this, probably 8 or 9 of a management team with nothing left to chance and shout out to Paddy Kelly who's doing superb work behind the scenes.

You cant underestimate the influence of Saffron Vision in all this and one of their main successes being the establishment of Saffron Business Forum which is a big driver in ensuring the funds are in place to enable our squads are properly prepared.

We are still a long way of winning silverware, but a lot of essential boxes are starting to be ticked!

Yeah like the trip to Waterfoot for the senior footballers, you need some serious financial backing for stuff like   that

The county couldn't give a toss about any level of football in this county

Not a good start to your interview for PRO..

=D

According the Antrim Strategic Plan 2020-2022, one of their main aims of the plan was to develop a fit for purpose Antrim fixture programme, it's now 2023 and we saw 10am throw ins and leagues starting in first week of March. Does this mean that that "fit for purpose" notion goes out the window? It also says that games are regular, meaningful and meets the needs of all patrons. Not quite sure how footballers start the leagues in early March with 10am throw ins but the hurlers start the leagues at the end of March and every week start at 2pm

10AM throw in you wouldn't hear it anywhere else on the island  ;D ;D

Dublin have a lot of league games on at 10.30am.

and Derry possibly?

I take that back. Series 3 was decent. Just the 2nd one had so much hype but was very disappointing.

Would this be why she stepped down? Did she know this was coming? Was the transgender prisoner thing a red herring?

Is it her ex-husband?

Will be soon I would imagine.

Nearly 10 years late to the party but True Detective Season 1was one of the best series I have watched in along time Harrelson and McConaughey  were outstanding in it (doubt the Louisiana tourism board would have enjoyed it as much through)

It finished brilliant. If I remember right, first 5 or 6 episodes were slow enough though. The jumping back and forward through the years added alot to it too.
Yep it was a slow burn for the first  few episodes but so worth it ,  also had one of the most unnerving/creepy antagonist's in any series/film I have seen

Flip me how have I never heard about this? One episode to go on the first season...excellent show

The first series was excellent. Definitely up there. One episode Woody Harrelson was the luckiest man on the planet lol. The rest of the series were absolute rubbish considering the stars  and budget.
