Ah I'm not of the type to like seeing a player injured either on fairness, its just that now Chelsea are possibly without their main goal scorer which is a help to the rest of the teams that is playing them. I just like the fact that its possible Chelsea are now going to score less goals.

Full Tim

Man Utd 1-0 Sunderland.

Saha with the goal, good for him on his return. Sunderland packed the defence for most of the game until Utd got the goal. Not a great game. Good to get the 3 pts in the end though. :)

Would really like to see Limerick win it, can only see Kilkenny winning it though. Best of luck to Limerick anyway.

If Nallen is to decide to give it another year, to be honest I cant see him featurig much on the team, would expect him to be on the bench and he might get a run out towards the end of a game if anything, legs are gone on him, sad to say but its true. D Brady brings a physical presence to the team, he might not be a regular starter anymore (even though I wouldnt be surprised if he was) but he could be useful in particular games to just mark a key player on the opposition team (e.g K Donaghy), that is, if he has the pace.

Champions League Fixtures for Manchester United.

Wed 19 Sep - Sporting Lisbon away
Tues 2 Oct - AS Roma home
Tues 23 Oct - Dynamo Kiev away
Wed 7 Nov - Dynamo Kiev home
Tues 27 Nov - Sporting Lisbon home
Wed 12 Dec - AS Roma away

Hope none of the violence that happeded at the Roma game last time round starts again, probably why the game away to them is the last. Not the easiest group but I'd expect Utd to get through, dont know much about Dynamo Kiev on fairness, the sporting games will be interesting seeing as it is both Ronaldo and Nani's old club, shouldnt make any difference though.
Happy enough with the draw, was hoping to get Celtic again but it just didnt turn out that way.

Will be supporting Cork now anyways, think most of the country apart from Kerry people will be.

A true Legend and great, very sad to think we wont see him play again, he had a brilliant style of play and rarly got into much trouble and overall seems like a nice guy.

Thats a huge blow for the Hammers, just after getting him and all, could well affect their already not-so-great gameplay. They'll need Adriano now anyway, he'd be a huge boost to them.

Mayo / Re: Mayo Club Football.
August 28, 2007, 09:39:33 PM
Ballaghadeereen have been so impressive and consistant with the good football this year and I honestly think they'll come out of Mayo and would not be surprised at all if they went on to the latter stages of the All Ireland and think they could do it. They are really strong and will be hard beaten.

Absolutely, the likes of Mc D, D Brady and Jimmy Nallen continue year after year going for the top prize and after all these years they are still trying to go for it and not getting there, I feel bad for them really, must be painful for them as I'm sure they are all well aware that they are not getting any younger and their days in football are narrowing down. Very sad.
