Had to turn off at RTE as soon as the game finished. Can't be arsed listening to Spillane's shite. Good luck to him.

That Galway keeper... shocking. I won't say he outright cost them the game, but they will need to upgrade him next year.

Kerry average but won't care. They got over the line at last.

Walsh is in the mood to get a goal in the second half. If Galway can get Comer going, Kerry are in big trouble here.

Galway's Damien Comer will provide a completely different test to Jason Foley and Kerry compared to last weekend. Dean Rock is an all-time great footballer, but he has definitely lost a yard or two of pace. There was one high ball that went into Rock in the second half from a Dublin player, and if he had won it, he was one on one with Foley. If that was O'Callaghan instead of Rock, a Dublin goal was definitely on the cards.

I'd like to see Shane Walsh closer to the goals than he has been playing as well. Let Finerty do the dirty defensive work and keep Walsh and Comer inside the Kerry half. The likes of Tom O'Sullivan might think twice about bombing forward to try and kick a score.

Kerry were very poor in that second half they fell apart after conceding the goal Galway will be licking their lips you would think!

Kerry should have a couple of points to spare over Galway.

This probably wouldn't be close if O'Callaghan was on the field.

That was some f**king goal. Right in the corner from distance. Momentum shift in Croker.

Canning and McStay hard to listen to.

Sky arena then

Compared to Maloney and Fitzpatrick yesterday, Canning and McStay are terrible. Marty Morrissey is the worst of the lot though.

Cormac Costello only plays well against tired legs coming off the bench. He never seems to turn up when he gets a start on the big days.

It's very hard to win a last 4 match with no forwards

Bingo!!

Was talked about at length before Tyrone game but the system and the raw desire has masked it so far.

Someone said above how long until Derry are back there in utterly convinced it won't be long the players are there and the forwards will be there in the next few years!

McGuigan is an excellent forward. He spent pretty much the whole game in his own half though.

Comer, on the other hand, was allowed to stay up at times and rewarded that decision with 2-2 or whatever he finished with.

I don't necessarily agree that Dublin/Kerry would wipe the floor with this Galway outfit. They'll probably beat them alright, but Galway have it in them to run either to a few points if they play to their potential.

It appears the blanket will only get you so far these days.

Tomorrow is the AIF
Galway had the blanket for almost all of the first half, they've just got better forwards

Galway just mirrored how Derry set up. Armagh played a more open brand of football, and Galway were then allowed to play a bit of football.

Derry will probably not get back to this stage again. There's only so far you can get in the modern game playing this type of football.

Feel sorry for the likes of McGuigan, Glass, McKaigue, etc who are top class players but not allowed to express their ability.

Going from Darragh Maloney and Eamonn Fitzmaurice, to Marty Morrissey and Kevin McStay is a serious downgrade... tough listen atm
