Just after getting the daily mirror there, the big Liverpool for sale 600million headline drew me in. Read it a bit, selling Torres is not an option. Or Gerrard. The club would never do that. Fcukin journos talking shite as usual i hope.

Why would the club never do that?? Every player has his price and if say City rocked up with a big enough offer I'm pretty sure Liverpool would sell and if one or either of them expressed any interest in going there is very little Liverpool could do. I've said on this forum before that its only us fans that have emotional ties with the clubs anymore

Didn't see tackle and them gif's don't work on iPhone but that's not what I'm on about. It's just the constant nonsense that he spouts on here and I'm not the only one that thinks it.

Sure ur as bad.... U just can't see it. Wandering around the thread like some kind of moral guardian but when someone comes back at ya with valid points u just leave the discussion.. Cyber warrior

I have for sale an ORIGINAL Match Programme from the 1958 FA Cup tie at Old Trafford, Manchester United v Sheffield Wednesday.

This was of course, United's first game after the Munich Air Disaster.
The programme has a slight fold, but is in good condition.
There is no writing in it, or any rust on the staples......the token is still intact, and the United team line up famously consists of 11 blank spaces.

Antone interested in making an offer?

I'd be interested in it mate, but they are not that rare. If ur serious about having one and selling it pm me

Chelsea don't need favours from united anymore! 5 wins & ye are champions simple  ;)

I am not worried about favours. It's the integrity of the game.
Said the man with "the big Russian crook" owning his team ;D

Hmmm Russian 'crook' or Yankie 'fraudsters'?

Mate, I know exactly what our owners are but I'm not question the integrity of the game

f**king right it does but I got over it though and didn't try to blame anyone else. Ive never seen a bigger bunch of moaners in my life as Utd fans on here. Always have someone else to blame and can't admit defeat.

f**king gutted. Thought City done enough to deserve the draw. As usual, Utd get all the gifts at the swamp from the ref. Where did the ref get 2 extra minutes of added time from?

City missed Adebayor big time as still missing that physical presence up front.

Didn't take long to find but then again nothing much happens on ur thread and never will cause in all honesty when cITEH do start to win Leagues and Cups (and it will happen) no-one will really care. Thats the difference between our two clubs...

hated, adored but never ignored

That post is irrelevant, as that relates to the league game v Utd at the start of the season and not the Carling Cup tie that ross4life was referring to and I responded to.

Use talk about they lucky breaks Bayern got over the 2 legs and in the tournament, how many lucky breaks have Utd got over the seasons. But as they say, they all even themselves out. Thank god it started to even out the past week or so  ;D

Im not confident about the upcoming City v Utd game as anything can happen in it, and the gulf between the 2 teams isn't as big as it once was so it's all up in the air still.

I've highlighted for u the bits I think are relevant in relation to ur post. U have sort of proved what my point was anyway (thanks!).

We're all bad losers, look at any teams thread after a significant defeat there will be plenty of what if's and it onlys and the like and buried way in the middle somewhere a couple of sensible posters lurk. Its human nature and not as you suggest confined to United supporters. Maybe its just cause there are more of us that it seems that way  :P

Our boy's done well. Great deserved victory over the 2 legs.

Who are your boy's?  Are Bayern the team you supported before you bought your first Man City top in 2008?

Dry your eyes nrico. About time someone put Utd in their place, and im sure all other football fans enjoyed last night as well. I sorta wanted Utd to get to the final so Barca could give them another footballing lesson like last year, but the earlier they are out the better.

Not sure knocking a team out in quarter finals of European Cup on away goals qualifies as putting team in their place........

But like I said in another thread earlier it gives u people a days fun or in this case maybe 2 or 3 so enjoy

you beat me to it  ;)

21 goals in 28 games this season for him & 4 goals in 4 games for mexico sounds good

Carlos Vela is Mexican's first choice striker. That says a lot for this guy.

So ur writing off a fella u never heard of til 20 mins ago?? The modern day football fan is just great ::)

Its truly touching to watch the joy people get when United lose an important game. 7-8 pages of unbridled joy and thats before the day shift even start. Its always nice to know we mean so much to people :)

United were a bit unlucky last night but were poor last week so wouldn't have that many complaints overall. I think Vidic and probably Berbatov will move on during the summer, I've always been a huge admirer of Berba but it hasn't really worked for him at United especially since Rooney moved right up top and he's too good a player not to be playing regular football. The sale of those 2 would recoup 35-40 mill and that would be the acid test of how financially strapped United are whether or not that money makes its way into transfer kitty.

It actually wouldn't surprise me if Ferguson stepped down too as the squad is aging and several players will need replacing in the short/medium term and I assuming hes not gonna be there to oversee the whole process maybe he'll feel it better to let the next man have a free run at it.

It'll be like armageddon on here if Maureen gets the job cause he'll get peoples back up more than Ferguson ;D

Keep the green and gold flag flying high.................

Although Dunphy may have gone over the top, his has  a point. This may be a very significant night for United in the grand scheme of things. On the other hand a massive night for Bayern and the fact that due to the finacial restrictions of the Bundesliga they are debt free and attracting investment. Saying that there are a few english clubs in severe financial crisis and the days of having a few clubs in the last 4 of the CL will be a long time coming around again.

United will be grand, sure they have a great plan................Green and Yellow scarfs is the answer :D
