Congrats to Slaughtneil. A better team then I thought they were.

Can they go all the way? I'd fancy them to beat Stacks.

The one thing that they have is they are extremely hard working and have a solid unit of players. Mickey Moran has them playing very well and they will harass the Kerry men more than they have been all year.  Have they got the x factor to push on,  not quite sure but the reality is that the AI winners will come from the other side of the draw.

are we still towing the line that Dublin teams are unbeatable?

Great score to win it, well done to Mickey Moran and his team.

Congrats to slaughtneil, and some score to win it. Think they could have won by more, ref could have given them few more frees esp near the end. Christopher bradley kicked some scores and seemd to have the freedom of the park, dont rate tierney as a defender never mind CHB!

Delighted to see omagh beat, they seem to spend most their time slabbering into their opponents faces, they should concentrate on football. Then again they prob got extra tuition from joe mcmahon in that art! Young oneill has talent but should keep his mouth shut! Cant see them getting out of tyrone again, they were lucky enuf this year

You are doing plenty of slobbering here yourself.
As always truth hurts! Slaughtneil were better team - Fact, Omagh were more interestd in slabbering than playing football - Fact! Omagh were lucky to get out if Tyrone - Fact!

Was sore on Omagh losing today as there was only a kick of a ball in it and when 3 up they kicked a food few wides.  Thought it was a serious battle, a great game for the time of the year. 2 very well conditioned teams. Think Conor Clarke asked for an u 14 top for today to show off his gym work :-)

Omagh sledge like goodins but not near as much as they did against Cross...its a real Tyrone trait

Young Karl did a right job on O'Neil (can't remember him scoring from play)
Omagh seemed to have the Emmets at arms length for a good bit but a few back to back scores and a couple of beaters from Sammy pulled them right back into it.

Barry Mcguigan must have the same endurance coach as Sean Leo...serious engine.

Sammy was given motm,  he was excellent in patches but Patsy for me was by some distance the best player today. Heart of a pack of lions...phenomenal battler. He's added superb foot passing to his game in his latter years

How the feck did one give it 3 rounds to Eubank?

Was thinking that myself.

Eubank was very frustrating, had he done anything in the opening 5 rounds he'd have won that relatively easily!

You had Saunders by 2. I had him by 3...not a huge difference

Quite easily. The odd big shot and blistering combo looks good but doesnt beat a steady scoring fighter. You see it different.  That's your call.

I had Saunders by 3 at the end. Tough as teak. You'd tell Eubank Jr to tell his da to either bog off or put on a tracksuit

Have been watching series 2 of the Fall and after last night I don't think I will bother anymore.

thinking the same but will no doubt see it through (its on at a nice time on Sunday evening).

Agree with the guys above re Homeland, superb season. The last episode was a cracker.

The Walking Dead is starting to get on my wick at the minute.

Anyone know when Hell on Wheels throws the gun belts back on?

Can we not just do a 10 best Irish women of 2014 list.  Anyone who includes a chicks with sticks camogie pic is disqualified.

Big Aine would figure very highly

Surely the GPA would have a list of what they have done for players? Why the need for a whole song and dance? Their PR department must me run by 6th formers

Anyone hear Joe on Off the Ball with Paul Kimmage earlier today?
Jesus, whatever about the telly stuff, he should never be let near a radio interview again.
He started off by cursing profusely, then when he was taken to task he said everyone curses so what difference does it make (bear in mind this is Sunday lunch-time radio).
Then he proceeded to talk over everyone else and stifle any sort of reasonable discussion.
I turned it off after about 5 minutes.

Probably had a liquid lunch wouldn't be the first time

Quit with this guff for the love of god

Incredible talent. Was the same year as me (different schools). Remember Football Focus on a sat doing a special piece on Aidy inc interviewing Fergie who couldn't praise him enough.
