You never win in the end.

D day for staying in the leagues was supposed to be yesterday.

When will the players decide on arbitration?

How long will arbitration take?

Will they ask for more delays because the squads and Teddy/Gerald haven't been training together?

It could be weeks yet before they are ready to take the field.

So why are you against it exactly?

Ireland has done very well out of the EU thank you very much. We don't want a load of long haired malcontents ruining our relations with the rest of Europe.

It is a disgrace in this day and age that a county like Louth don't have a proper county ground up to modern standards. This place may have been acceptable in 1950 but it isn't now adays.
125 years after the Association was founded you would think every county would have a home ground up to standard.

I'll be down for the match. I expect a close game.

I went to see No Country For Old Men. I wasn't impressed at all. There were times I'd no idea what was going on. The scenery in Texas was lovely but what happened the money?

I'd say it's just a stupid mistake and not worth making a whole fuss over. That man Rodgers isn't the sharpest tool in the box to begin with so what would you expect from a pig but a grunt?

In order to prevent you winning this competition Quinn, I will refrain from posting until late on Friday.  >:(

Great news. Hopefully the competition will run for weeks

Remove me from your list and we'll say no more about it.

Look what you started now Lecale2. This place will be madness in no time at all!

I'd say some of the more prolific posters are already forming secret alliances through PMs. You know what they are like around here.

When is the meeting?

I wish they wouldn't use nick names like the 12 Apostles.

Given that Pints and 5ive are currently banned from conversing they're not the certs they should be. However  I'm going to stick in  (1) 5ive, (2) Snowed Under and (3) Aristotle Flynn. A few iffy posts about  (1) the Paul Quinn Death, (2) using up mother and toddler parking spaces and (3) anything that includes even the smallest an element of enjoying yourself  and I can just sit back and watch the points roll in

Change of venue for Roscommon/Meath clash
13 February 2008

Roscommon's Division Two NFL home game against Meath will now be played at Kiltoom instead of Dr Hyde Park.

Rossies officials took the decision to switch the venue amid fears that the county grounds could be waterlogged if there is any rain in the run-up to the weekend.

Sunday's game has a 2.30 throw-in and brings the Royal County back to the scene of their humiliating 16-point drubbing in 1990.

Antrim CANNOT play in 2008 Munster SHC
13 February 2008

The Munster Council chairman has revealed that it's impossible for Antrim to replace Cork in this year's Munster senior hurling championship.

There were rumblings that the Glensmen could be invited into the competition if the Rebels are unable to settle their internal differences, but Jimmy O'Gorman says it would not be possible for Antrim to feature in the 2008 Munster SHC:

"They would have to make an official application to the Munster Council first and then we'd look at it. There has been no application made up to now.

"It can't happen now for 2008 no matter what, because that application would have to be made and looked at and then sanctioned."

Why only 1 pt for a Non GAA post and 2 for all others?

I think 5ive Times, Sky Blue, Ziggeyego and Pints are good picks. They post a lot and with them being on warnings they're unlikely to misbehave and get a ban.

Although you never can tell what will happen. Especially if there is drink involved. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out.
