Anyone see An Education? I've a wee thing for Carey Mulligan, so might go see it.

Yeah i saw it recently zig. Pretty good film but def a bit of a chick flick.

The acting from Carey Mulligan, Peter Sarsgaard and Alfred Molina is superb.

Mo. It is worth noting that due to its extremist protestant ethos Linfield/IFA
No it's no.  What's extremist about honouring the Sabbath . Isn't it one of the big 10?
QuoteNot even Ferguson and Man Utd have such power
Yes they can.

Gnevin, its a pity your apparent respect for religious faith (in this case the players of Linfield FC) was not in evidence yesterday in your various 'contributions' on the burning of Longford cathedral thread...

Anyone ever seen "happiness" with phillip seymor hoffman.
Thats a disturbed and depressing film

'Happiness' is indeed one of the most depressing films I've seen. But then again its directed by Todd Solandz who seems to specialize in that sort of thing.

Saw 'The Road' recently (starring Viggo Mortensen, and based on Cormac McCarthy's book). Well made film but fairly unrelenting in its misery.

And its Lucas who gave away the free kick in the first place. Old habits I'm afraid.

Is Fearon supposed to be Homer or Grimey (as he liked to be called  ;))

He's certainly Homer to the OWC/Grimey crowd.
