Do you think Klopp will have the decency to offer his resignation after this?

Or will he just faux-laugh his way through an interview vainly trying to hide his impotent anger?

Actual belly laughs at "Smith has played a blinder here with his tactics" hahahaha.

Classic

3 deflected goals is a bit crazy, but Villa more than deserve to be well ahead.

Villa have missed a few easy chances too.

Smith has played a blinder here with his tactics, but there is no excuse for the attitude of the Liverpool team. So many tackles lost, passes under and over hit, generally outfought all over the field.

Hopefully a once-off, but Klopp has to pick them up big time after this.

An off day? Seriously lol.

The unpalatable truth is that Gomez is a League One defender, Alexander Arnold can't defend, and Van Dijk is prone to errors and laziness.

That was embarrassing. Derry football is seriously in the doldrums.

This pathetic excuse for a game of football highlights everything I was saying earlier.

Defensive competence - are you joking? They've conceded in something like 8 out of their last 9 League games.

Just my opinion based on watching games over the last few years. The quality has decreased, the defensive tactics have increased to an extent that the current champions play a style you'd expect from a relegation battling side. Throw in the fact that brilliant footballers like Gilligan,Muldoon, Bradley, etc have retired and apart from McGuigan there's very little sign of similarly talented players to replace them.

Interested to hear how you feel Derry club football has regressed?

Arteta has done very little at Arsenal. Alienated their only decent creative player, repeatedly played Aubameyang out of position, and persisted with Luiz and Xhaka despite awful performances.

He shouldn't have got the job in the first place and has done nothing to justify his appointment.

The standard overall in Derry has dropped over the last few years. Slaughtneil imo have also gone backwards a wee bit.

It speaks volumes about where Derry are that the current county champions play 14 men behind the ball even against weaker sides.

Ye couldn't watch that Magherafelt team, horrible style of football. Slaughtneil aren't as strong as they were but in McGuigan they have the best forward in Derry which could make the difference.

I don't think there's any chance.of that with the current squad. Staying up playing that brand of exciting football would be a massive acheivement in itself though.

Can leeds knock on the door of the European places?

Not sure the defence is up to a top 4 finish unless other contenders make a mess of things. They'd need to improve on Pickford, Coleman and Keane.

If key players got injured they would be in trouble too, the likes of Walcott and Iwobi are nowhere near good enough to be starting regularly.

Another good performance from Liverpool's most exciting side against Brighton today. Can't believe Pickford is still employed as a professional footballer though, awful keeper.

Goalscoring ability!

He scored a paltry 19 goals despite playing almost 100 games. Van Dijk isn't far off that and he's a centre back.

Minamino doesn't have anything like the presence or goal scoring ability of Origi. I'd be very recutant to let Origi go. He's popped up with some incredibly important goals for Liverpool. All from the position of a 2nd team player which is tough. I understand he doesn't fit the gegenpressen style of Liverpool's natural front 3 but still he offers something different. There's no point when a team is stifling your attack and your looking for a goal bringing on a poorer version of what's already there.

Origi's height and ability to score from outside the box is a big asset.
