Absolutely dismal stuff from England there. Couldn't even make Australia bad again. Be a few boys given the road after this tour.

Might not agree with the way they play but there can be no complaints about the result. If kilcoo had of lost they would have been kicking themselves. Should have put them away in normal time.

That glen team will be back right enough

Has there been any findings with regards to how serious the effects of this omicron variant is? I've seen reports online (albeit probably not from the most reliable sources) that although more transmissible the illness is much milder. Is there any truth in this or is it too early to tell?

Admit it folks. The only reason why you like Max is because his boss's wife is Ginger Spice

Bit like the aussies then who lost their captain just weeks ago

Aussies are playing at home in conditions familiar to them. A good few of the squad will have been playing Sheffield Shield cricket in the run up to the Ashes. England are off the plane a couple of weeks ago and have only a couple of games amongst themselves under their belts. There was a time a touring team would have three or four quality games under their belts before a showcase tour like this

Not a defence of England just a lamenting of the lack of competitive series with easy home wins becoming more frequent... India's recent performances not withstanding

Probably fair enough a lot of what you are saying but England's batting problem run long past this series. They are too reliant on root.  Adding on heaping a lot of unnecessary hype onto Ben stokes (I'm a big fan btw) hasn't help them.

Classic result for England. Shit start, ship steadied, glimpse of hope, then the Aussies put them to the sword, lol.

Thats it in a nutshell. Their batting is so fragile it's hard to see anything but 5-0

Dalot impressive as well for me, would give him a run ahead of Wan Bissaka. Shaw needs to pull his finger out or I'd be happy enough leaving Telles in the team.

Christ we need a decent midfielder as much as I like McTominay he isn't good enough to be starting every week and Fred is just comedy gold at this stage. Why Herrera was let go is beyond me.

Dalot offers a lot more going forward. His pass to Rashford for Ronaldo's goal was something AWB could only dream of doing. He was solid enough against Smith-Rowe but thought Martinelli gave him a bit of bother when he was switched over in the 2nd half.

Fred gets plenty of abuse, most of it deserved but McTominay gets off far too easily. Such a limited player. Nowhere near good enough to be playing week in, week out for a club like Man Utd.

Both of Salah's goals were preventable on Everton's side but it shows the form he is in at the moment. Any sort of half mistake and he's going to capatilise. Remarkable player.
