Leeds are great to watch.

Liverpool have been dreadful defensively. Van Dijk has continued where he left off last season with lazy defending and Alexander Arnold was exposed again for their first goal.

For Liverpool Salah and Keita playing well and they really should win this comfortably.

Liverpool all over the place at the back so far. Alexander-Arnold was really poor for the Leeds goal.

Possibly, I'm not an expert on equine terminology tbh.

I agree. Best side to watch in England last season along with Man Utd. Hopefully they liven up what was a drab top-flight last season.

He has performed much better than Fabinho or Henderson any.time I've watched him play, he's an automatic starter for me.

First few years in the PL I don't think they'd finish top 6 or even close, couldn't see them winning the League within 25 years unless it was some kind of Leicester one-off miracle.

Hopefully it's a more entertaining season. Last year was dull and low quality.

I know, not knocking Mal,just think Derry could be doing more to promote games. Even on the streaming front, charging to watch games v Antrim's  brilliant free coverage of the hurling last weekend, Derry should have made their games free.

The Premier League is at it's lowest standard in years and Celtic still wouldn't be good enough to finishing top 12 in it.

I wouldn't even say the top 6 last season. It was a spectacularly poor league. Liverpool won at a trot yet still got fpund out in Europe. They were the only bigger side who improved. City, Arsenal, United, Chelsea and Spurs are all regressing or trying to repair. The European clubs will get hopped next year.

It happens, but anyone who thinks Celtic wouldnt be comfortably mid table knows hee haw about soccer.

The broader point is that Celtic and Rangers are far bigger clubs than most EPL sides. Give them the money Norwich  and Bournemouth get just for showing up and they will push the big boys very hard.

Some acheivement alright  although I wouldn't be surprised if they lose both finals,Creggan and St Brigid's will be gunning for revenge.

A possible double double for the Toome lads.. some going there.

Keita looks a much better footballer than the rest of that midfield, don't understand why he is sitting on the bench most weeks.

New season just about to kick off and we are on the 3rd page!

Looking forward to this weekend....wall to wall football.

Still some business to happen I'd say but .even without new players in or players out I think we are in a good spot. Taki and Naby looked strong in recent games so kinda like brand new players. Leeds will be a tight start. Think they'll take to the PL well. Bielsa is a shrewd operator.

Let's get ready to rumble!

Mal does indeed do a great job. But I'd love Derry to have something like Antrim do with Saffron Gael website. Puts Derry to shame the service they provide. Full match reports with photos within 24 hours and covers all codes at all age groups. It can be hard enough to find out much about some of the games happening within Derry especially now you can't attend them all.

Just a wee word of appreciations for the PR work by the County Biard  on Twitter/Facebook and Mal McMullan with County Derry Post.

Just excellent.
