Just wondering how did Kieran Hughes play at full for UUJ? Heard promising stories about him and i believe he playing for Scotstown U21s who are playing in the Ulster Tournament at the end of the month . Would it be worth going to watch him?

Was at the Monaghan game. Not too bad of a performance! James Turley , Paul Finlay and Dermot Malone were best for Monaghan. St.Marys keeper morgan had an excellent game too

Ye what is the story here? Geraghty was a fantastic play back in the day but does Banty really feel he can contribute on the pitch? Like tbh in recent years the game has become more fitness orientated and at 37 i think the best you can hope for his 10 minutes at max. Even at that will he be sharp enough or aware to get that vital score Meath need??

Not sure on scorers but heard Peter O'Hanlon , Karl O'Connel and David Miller has good games. Rory Beggan played 1st half in nets and Keogh played the other. From what i was told also Fermanagh were very poor. Seamus Quigley at full forward was barely fit to run and seems Canavan has a massive task on his hands.

Makes for a very interesting competition so. Scotstown and Omagh been the pick of the matches. At this grade 3 years ago Scotstown reached the final against Ballinderry and were indeed unlucky. From what i understand they have 2 county senior players and 5 county u 21s. Enough i feel to be taken very seriously? I feel whoever wins that match will win the competition. Dungiven and mayobridge been the only other reallistic contenders. great to see all the countys participating and hopefully a very competative exciting competition
