You seem to know the details of the agreement then,Keyser

No nothing about it.
But if all juvenile teams in a combined Clonad/Colt/Shanahoe arrangement wear Clonad jerseys in 2017 I'll stand outside Eamon Duff's for the night dressed in a feather boa and chewing on my own mickey!

That's a hostage to fortune post if I ever saw one  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

We have formally  informed Park/Ratheniska that our amalgamation with them is at an end,We had wanted a full amalgamation from u6 up with them, while they were only willing to give us an u14 and u 16 amalgamation.

Talks are progressing well between ourselves Colt/Shanahoe and Ballypickas with a view to including all juvenile age grades,we would expect that all teams will be hurling in Division 1 or the A grade.

You shot the messenger back then, but I was proved right.

So I guess what I was saying all along has come to pass despite some of the so called men in the know  on here shooting it down at the time.

A Raheen parish team at juvenile and senior would create waves and would be good for laois hurling in the medium to longer term.

Too many clubs fighting for the title of worlds tallest dwarf.

If you get a transfer in Tipp, you and your family can sell up such is the strength of ill feeling towards anyone that transfers

I know of  1 extreme case in Tipp of an u14 who transferred to a club across the border in another county,he was killed 6/7 years later in a car crash and his former team mates refused to do a guard of honour  at his funeral.

No players have been "POACHED" by portlaoise. It's easy to accuse the club of poaching players. The facts are the players themselves requested a  transfer to portlaoise. There is not scouts going around to matches looking for players.  Portlaoise have lost players to other clubs in the past but because they left portlaoise for another club, that is not considered as poaching.  Get your facts right lads before ye start posting about portlaoise just because you don't like them.  >:(

Portlaoise spending the guts of €2k to get the DRA to hear a case involving an u16 from Park who they wanted to transfer into them must have happened in a parallel universe then?

If Stradbally (20/1 to win Leinster,250/1 to win All Ireland) win next Sunday, they will have the following two games at a home venue (v WH and Dublin Champions).

BK play winners of Cuala v Kilmacud in Parnell Park 6/11

Can anyone from Portlaoise confirm how Bruno is?

Released from Hospital today, suffering from concussion, doesn't remember anything of the game which is probably a blessing in disguise 😏

Tipp have 4 GDO's,1 for each division,so it's not just about throwing money at the problem,it's much more nuanced than that.

How many national schools here would run lunchtime or after school leagues and that's just 1 example where the approach in Tipperary or Kilkenny is radically different from that of here.

People here laud cheddar and Critchley for the hurling work they do,go into any club in Tipp or KK and there's a cheddar or Critchley in situ in each club.

Even a simple thing as juvenile pitch's aren't  up to scratch here, compare them again to what's available in KK or Tipp and don't come whining about grants or croke park, most of them were put in on the backs of their members.

A sad day for Laois,a man who put his heart soul and money into the Laois set up

Davy's available
All we need is a €1m budget p.a to renumerate him and his 29 man support team.

Yep the Frank Murphy approach of finding a loophole and then exploiting it to your advantage.

I was talking to a Timahoe mentor today and he seems to think that Quigley will win the appeal as the video proves that he didn't strike the player for which he was in the refs report for.
