Imagine a 14 year old BOY getting a shoulder off a biological man.

Does that happen in organized GAA games much?

In smaller clubs you will get 14 year old boys who have a bad birthday playing Minors so yes that would happen.

But that's ok?

We're not worried about the physical disparity and risk of injury in those cases?

What about the early maturing and late maturing lads at underage in general?

I was a small 14 year old and didn't start to shoot up until I was into u-16. I came up against lads a foot taller and 3 stone heavier. Don't ever remember any pearl clutching over it.

I shot up and stopped while every **** got a foot taller !!!

I'm not sure how this can be properly regulated if I'm being honest, I really don't see there being that many, as for dressing rooms clubs will need to install unisex changing rooms, not uncommon and fits all purpuses

Who is going to pay to build unisex changing rooms at clubs who only have two dressing rooms?

I think the go games are a positive. You wouldnt believe some of the kids who have a desire to win at all ages. Do you dampen their will to win so that Joe who probably will never play gaelic after the age of 10 gets some game time? I have also seem parents being their kids to a small cup game when their child never attended training. They expected their child to play

Parents are to blame as well. I have seen 30 kids turn up to go games and everyone expects their kids to get game time.

Main issue I see with teenagers and young adults is they want everything handed to them. My view is kids working hard and being competitive while having fun is a good thing and will make them more resilient later in life

They should all be getting similar game time at that age. If you have 30 kids, you should have 2 teams set up. A number of clubs do that. You don't want to stifle the will to win. But it needs to be done with each player getting their fair time. That's the core ethos of the go games.

Two teams wouldn't even be enough it should be 3 minimum for that number of kids.

https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/gaelic-games/2023/02/19/transgender-players-given-green-light-by-ladies-gaelic-football-association/

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) has introduced a new policy that allows transgender women and girls to play the sport except in circumstances where an "unacceptable risk" arises.

The new policy, which was ratified on Wednesday, states the association "is committed to the inclusion" of transgender women and that it "will not tolerate any harassment or discrimination".

The policy applies to all transgender women and girls over the age of 12 who seek to play or continue playing the sport.

Transgender players "who have transitioned or are transitioning from male to female" are required to make an application to a new Transgender Application Committee.

A few here might get to play county football now.

From what i have seen of Tipp and Longford they will be relegated there were better teams in Division 4 last year. Cavan sitting on top with 3 wins having beat those two but everyone else will beat them so the weeks ahead is where it is going to get interesting especially next weekend.

Is there no sanction for Barnes for not red carding the player at the time?

I have zero doubts that this been an Irish player he would have had the red out straight away. it was clear from the conversation with TMO that he was striving to make a case to not send this player off despite it clearly being a red under the guidelines. He has never given Ireland fair play the w**ker.

Even the touch judge who was beside him when he said it was going to be yellow had a look of confusion on his face.

There was a picture doing the rounds the other week with about 5 or 6 coaches queued up and the information being spread was that it was all male unvetted immigrants.

It was busloads of people going to a cross country race.

Military aged men.

one ejit was spreading information that french rugby fans were really refugees in disguise and did not go to  the airport after the match.

The sad thing about that is there are people who will see that and believe it.

I'd suggest 2 reasons for cashless...
1 less Insurance
2 money goes where it's meant to go

I don't understand why they can't have a few card machines at the gate to take payments I think it would solve this problem over night and they are still cashless.  90% or more would still buy online as they are used to it now and it is handy.

Folks I seen starlink mentioned on this thread before and I was considering getting it, but didn't bite the bullet. I wish I acted sooner, have it in a few days now and it has been truly live changing lol. Speeds well over 100mbps. Crap Internet was the only thing that would have made me consider moving house. 9mbps was the best we ever got before hand, and that was a real rarity. It was 4 or 5 on a good day. Loads of buffering even on Netflix. 3 wanes all plugged in, nightmare. If anyone else is the same boat with no access to superfast fibre optic broadband, just get it. It will change your world!

Whats it costing you?
450 euro for the hardware, and 80 euro a month. Its expensive, but needs must. I'm paying 50 a month to vodafone for absolutely muck broadband, which obviously I'll be telling them to shove up their hole now. So the difference, for the benefit it gives the house, stuff I can do at home instead of having to do at work, and the bonus that I can take it to the caravan as well is neglible IMO.

I'm lucky to have decent enough broadband it's good enough for my needs and everyone else in the house but i would absolutely pay that if it was my only option.

I would bet E50 that chrissears, Ulster Frank, Eire OG, Kerry for Sams, Cavan 19, are all the same idiot WUM,
Given the genuine loss the board had this week, one would think that you might have waited a month before you started up more BS threads.

I will take on that bet and while you are at it double it to 100 and i will donate the winnings to charity.

Gaamod5 can select the charity.
