The group of lads are a make up of Ballymena/Cushendall/Glenariffe..unbelievably that it's only been up since yesterday afternoon! 

Lot of goal keepers now using a Cúltec for their poc outs.  Found myself that to keep the weight down the bás of a keeper hurl was always thinner, and so continuous poc outs normally led to cracks.  Cúltecs can add a good few yards to your poc outs too in my opinion.

Back two weeks ago from Val Thorens - went from the 15th to 22nd December.  Flew to Geneva from Belfast for about £90 and £90 again for the transfers.  Took about 3.5 hours.  Only four of us went and stayed in Temple du Soilel which is right on the piste.  Think we got accommodation and our ski pass for £239, plus £69 for equipment.

Snow was unbelievable.  First day we had brilliant clear skies and sun, but the second and third days were complete white-outs.  Couldn't see more than 10-15ft ahead but was skill skiable.  Left us with brilliant snow for the rest of the week with off-piste being seriously deep powder!

Cost of eating out/drink was quite dear.  A vodka and mixer in one of the main nightclubs (Malaysia) will cost you 7euro and a large beer (40cl) is 5euro.  From being in Andorra last year it was quite a jump in price but still definitely worth it for the vast range of slopes and the quality of the snow.

Tough to think it will be another year at least before we're back.

Heard that also.  When he released the statement a week or two ago I kind of felt like he'd been given a hard time over it all, but now I'm glad to see the back of him.  He's lost any respect that would have been left.

Do they not get grace until the appeal is heard?

If that's right, then why can a player not make an appeal and receive grace until it's heard?

Not picking holes in the fact that there are far too many people being trained as teachers (I'm currently at St Mary's University College)  but you need to be aware of where the figures for these surveys come from.  The 8500 figure comes from the number of teachers who are on the subbing register, but not all of these teachers are even looking for employment.  A huge majority are those who have put in their days teaching and have taken a redundancy package, and have now placed themselves on the subbing list for odd day of teaching here or there.

Here and the potential county stars from the reserve team were well beat also!! Must be still drinking

You'd be better asking which regulars started. 

R McCloskey, Jimmy Campbell, Shay Casey and Duck were the only regulars to start, the rest were reserves and two minors.

So to answer your snipe at us MR2 our reserves got a draw away to the senior Portaferry team. Our z squad + minors played the reserve game. A bounty of riches indeed. 

Seems to be a lot to be missing for the beginning of the league SIE.  Where were the rest of the regular starting team?  We came away with a win in Ballycran but made hard work of it.

We beat Glenariffe today in Ulster League, maybe 11 or 12 in it at the end.  Conor McAlister a big miss for them as they struggled to hold on to possession around the middle of the field for most of the game.  Anyone know where Dan McKillop was? 

I'd put a few euro on boden myself, wexford champagne who I struggle to spell could give cats champs their fill of it

Did Oulart win the Wexford championship this year, if so they are a very capable team and should really have won the Leinster Championship last year.  In saying that I believe James Stephens are an excellent side, have been in the shadow of Ballyhale for the last few years but previous All Ireland Champions and at this stage would be favourites for the title, possibly along with Clarinbridge

Just puck it, st marys used to play with queens would u not be better with that combo.  Maybe it ain't possibility.  Poly always hoovered up techs.

Wasn't aware of that SO.  I just know that since St Mary's formed in 2003 they've been able to play players from BMC.  Maybe that's the way things were whenever St Mary's never had a team of their own?

The College is technically a sub-college of Queens, although not too many people in St Mary's see, or acknowledge the connection!
