GAA Discussion / Re: "Historic" win for PSNI

Are the team-sheets actually made public? I would be interested in who actually plays for the PSNI. I know one ex-Downpatrick player was playing for them, I wondered if he was still playing.

And are the names submitted in Irish?

Them two boys would be a fine addition to many a county (Antrim, Cavan, Clare etc).

If it were me though I'd prefer to be put out to stud.

We need to use McKenna Cup to find new midfielders, especially if the Clady man aint gonna step up this year.

Anyone think we should try out Paul McGrane at full back in the McKenna cup?

One other fact to remember, is that teachers need to know how to behave when outside of school, and at school formals etc etc etc. They are role models 24 x 7.

If you want to dance on tables with your colleagues then you are better off in the private sector.

Has anyone ever successfullly taught themselves to do without lunch?

I know a farmer who said he once taught a horse to do without food alltogether. He said it took a couple of years to teach it.

Unfortunately as soon as he'd taught it successfully to do without food, the horse died. Pity.   :(

I'm married to a school teacher. It does have its benefits. If I dont do it just right, she makes me do it again and again and again until its perfect  ;)

Man goes up to house, knocks on the door and a woman answers. The man says "Is big Joe in?"

The woman replies sorrowfully "no, big Joe died last night"

The man thinks for a second and then says "Well, did he say anything about a paint brush?"

Agree totally. The BBC focussed too much on the fisticuffs.

However, judging from the limited bit that was shown, Cargan should booted out of the championship?
