The work days are slowing down in the run up to Christmas and I think we need a wee game to keep us occupied at work.

This may not work but I think I have devised a forum game that will be a bit of craic. It is a bit cheesy but just go with it.

Call it the Forum Murder Mystery game if you will.

The Game

I need 20 people of volunteer for the game. A sign up sheet is below. I will pick 1 killer, 1 detective and 18 others at random.

The Killer

In order to make a successful killing, the killer must stalk his pray.
A successful kill comes as follows:
. A victim has to post on ANY thread, the killer must respond within 5 replies on the same thread. for example if I post on the grind my gears thread then the killer must post within 5 replies
.The killer then must send the victim a PM to 'victim' to inform them of his/her death.
. The killer then has to inform myself, organiser, of the death. I will examine if it is successful and announce the death on this thread.

The Victims
. Must not give away the identity of their killer.

The Detective
. The detective must find the killer, before the clock runs out. The Detective must post his findings on this thread and has 3 guesses to who the killer is if he fails he is a LOSER.

Other Rules
. All killings/guesses must take place between 0900hrs to 1700hrs.

It may not work, it may be sh*te but God loves a trier.

It is the done thing in our club to head to the local after the game for a few pints. What about your club?

recent conversation in our household. Say you are a shop and you pay for your goods and you are entitled to 1p change, do you wait for it or just leave it?

Today it was minus 6 at 06:30.

I went out this morning and started the car and cleared the windscreen with luke warm water. Came back out and it had frozen over again.

I had no gloves and knowing the steering wheel would be cold I looked around for a substitute. There were socks hanging on the rail over the cooker. Perfect. Sock mittens were born.

Need to buy de-froster tonight. Clocks go back next weekend. Depression as will be traveling to and from work in the dark.

Lorry drivers in the North are so ignorant. They think they own the roads. There is a mini roundabout at the top of the town I live in and on a number of occassions they fly over the top of it, not giving way to their right, this morning I had to slam on the brakes mid roundbout because of this.  Is there anyone with stats of how many accidents these morons cause?

Time to name and shame, this mornings driver was from Quinn's in Fermanagh.
