New Hurling Mag - Hurling World

Suppose its like anything, if its supported it could give us hurling folk great information on whats happening in hurling circles and if not it will fold.  Talking to Frank he is open to ideas and suggestions on what to include and what interests people.  Drop him a line.

Launch of Hurling World – a new magazine dedicated exclusively to hurling and camogie
Who will win this years All-Ireland final? Does the provincial hurling championships have a future? And what is GAA President Nickey Brennan's vision for hurling.
The answers to these questions and much more can be found in Hurling World, a new monthly magazine dedicated exclusively to the national game. Issue One is being launched on September 1 and will feature in-depth coverage and analysis of this year's All-Ireland final from some of the country's top hurling writers.
Ronnie Bellew look at to this year's final, while we go behind the scenes of RTE's All-Ireland final day coverage, and look back at some of the greatest ever All-Ireland hurling final speeches.
Hurling World's launch issue also features a major interview with GAA President Nickey Brennan, an analysis of the ongoing debate about the hurling championship structures, and we step back in time with the men who made history when they were named as hurling's first All-Stars in 1971.
Kilkenny's John Power, Cork's Tom Kenny, Galway's Ollie Canning, Liam Horan and Waterford's John Mullane have joined the Hurling World Panel.


Coaching and fitness issues are covered in our Players Zone section while veteran inter-county referee Dickie Murphy and the GAA's National Hurling Director Paudie Butler will be writing monthly columns on refereeing and hurling development.


Hurling World will also include extensive coverage of camogie, special club focus features, round-ups of the latest hurling news from your county, features on the classic matches and teams, and hurling news from Britain, the US, and further afield.
