I was reading over Kerry Mike's detail about the set up for the club championship down in Kerry and it just struck me that a lot us us, while we would think we know a bit about the association in our own county and the inter county set up nationally, we havent a clue about the set up in even our neighbouring counties.
I'd be very interested in particular to find out the names of the trophies awarded for the football club championship in each county. Often they're named after a character, sometimes famous, sometimes not so much, but I think we've contributors from most, if not all counties on here and it would be great to build up a profile.
And if anyone's in a hurling county and has news on the hurling championship I would love to hear from them too.
