General discussion / Fantasy Premier League
July 21, 2009, 08:51:41 PM

I set up a fantasy football league on here last year which had a lot of people entering it. This year we have decided to try and generate some badly badly needed funds for our GAA club (when I say badly I mean badly) through running a fantasy league. I may also set one up closer to the time for people who wanna enter it for a bit of craic and no prize money.

To enter the competition all you have to do is log onto www.premierleague.com and register for their fantasy football competition (if you entered last year you shouldn't need to register again). Once you have registered, in the main menu you will see a tab for Leagues, click in there and join our League. The code for the our league is 262644-65613. The website will take care of everything else. The rules of the competition are laid down by the website itself.

Going to be £10 to enter, with half of the funds going into the club and the rest going into the pot for prizemoney, with 75% of which going to the winner and 25% going to the runner-up. So obviously the more people that enter the better for the prizemoney. Hoping that if we get a good few from here, other sites and the club we should a few hundred pounds worth of prizemoney.

Money can be paid directly to me (if you know who I am) or paid into the clubs paypal account at clannnabanna@hotmail.co.uk. Also when transferring the money, transfer it as a gift.

Hi there folks,

With the championship just around the corner, from now on in you will see various fantasy football competitions springing up, myself and a few other memebrs of our club have taken it upon ourselves to run a competition of our own as a fundraiser. Hopefully we will get alot of interest in it, weve kept the entry fee reasonably low, its a pretty straight forward competition, all the rules, scoring chart, and player lists ect can be found on our website, so why not have a nosey at it. I hope when you are deciding upon which of the competitions available to enter you will give us a thought, we may not have a flashy website with all the graphics, but in entering this competition, you will be supporting one of youre very own clubs. If you have any queries about the competition you can email me at clannnabanna@hotmail.co.uk

To view the competition just log on to clannnabanna.down.gaa.ie and click on the competitions link

I have set up a fantasy football league to try and redeem myself after my well below par EURO showing.

This link is http://fantasy.premierleague.com once you have logged in and entered your team, click on the 'Leagues' link you can find on the the right of the page. Now enter the code 287037-63658 to join the private league.

It has been set up to start on the 16th August so there will be no need to re pick your team after the friendlies as friendlies aren't included in this as it was a hassle changing your team after the EURO friendlies.
