The groundmens at croke park. Fair play to transform the pitch after sathurday nights game to Sundays games was great work. And the work all year and the quality of pitch has been great

I work as a groundsman in uk. Born  and bred donegal man.
Just offering advice or help to anyone who are looking help advice about pitchcare and maintinance.

Just interested to see what people think about the length of grass on a GAA pitch. I work as a groundsman in England and find it a little bit strange the way football is 25mm rugby 30mm  yet GAA is 60.

Obviously the shorter the grass the faster the ball will travel would be a good idea to cut the grass shorter say 30mm
