General discussion / Facebook login problem.
October 11, 2009, 09:58:14 PM
I havn't been able to login to Facebook since last Saturday, when I try to login I get a message saying my account is unavailable due to site maintainence.
I've reported it to Facebook who say they are aware of the problem that some users are having when logging in.
Is anyone else in the same boat or if anyone knows a solution to this it would be greatly appreciated.

Another piece of Tyrone diving which could cost Cork an All-Ireland title, a total injustice in my opinion.

http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/industry_sectors/media/article6451894.ece

Sat down yesterday to watch the Cork v Kerry game on Setanta Sports 2 only to find the channel was unavailable.
I phoned Setanta & was told that the GAA pulled the program at the last minute, I found this a bit strange & then someone told me they were close to going into adminastration.
This article confirms what I was told by my friend.

Not sure what these thugs think they are trying to achieve or what cause they think they are representing by these stupid attacks on Orange Halls, as we approach silly season in The North this does absolutely nothing except to raise tension in these areas.

GAA Discussion / GAA ripping off the clubs
April 12, 2009, 05:03:53 PM
The GAA are offering the clubs the oppurtunity to purchase its 125 year flag at a cost of £100, the flag is 6'x3'.
I think this is a total disgrace for Croke Park to expect clubs to fork out £100 for one flag in the times we are in & especially when a lot of clubs struggle to keep there heads above water with running costs on the rise every year.

GAA Discussion / Should referee's be neutral?
April 03, 2008, 11:22:52 PM
I find it very hard to believe that the referee in charge of Wednesday's U16 all-ireland schools football semi-final between the Down champions De la salle & Meath champions Dunshaughlin, was in fact from county Meath.
Have the vocational schools committee lost the plot here or can anyone on this forum offer an explanation as to why this might have happened ???
