Shane McNaughton and Liam Watson are pretty capable hurlers to be sending it into...

Anyway few people being a tad harsh on McManus here. Great hurler.

Jerry Wallace's first c'ship game. Can only get better that's for sure.

True. The first game under a new manager. Kildare lost very badly under mcgeaney in his first game and a new system.

Parnell Park is probably as good as you can get other than a home draw. You should be able to park within 5 mins of the ground except if there's a full house which is unlikely.

It could have been in Thurles which would have been practically a home draw for Limerick. We gave Offaly a good run last year in Parnell park last year.

I don't know how the cccc are making their decision. I don't think it's neutral as Limerick were holding off on the time of their football qualifier in case they might get a double header.
Ideally Antrim get a home draw and double header at Casement. Neutral would still be better than a long journey down to Limerick.

Hurling Discussion / Re: Under 21 Final in doubt??

Well done to Tipp but I feel for Galway. The Gaa could easily have moved the game whatever the arrangement. They seemed to say to Galway - 'tough now beat it' which is typical of the current leadership.

Well Done Tipp. Great match - great to see no controversy surrounding the win too. KK have been great champs and will be back.

lots of pent up something there.

Fair play to the Dubs and Down. The All Ireland could be won by any team left now (except maybe.....)

USE THE GAA TICKET OFFICE - DUBLIN 8717400 Instead of TM - they have started charging a service chg but its cheaper. They will e-mail out tickets too.
Pretty much the same crappy seats as TM have though.

Agree with RealSpirit - Antrim should focus on League next year. Dinny says he's not bothered with league - but realistically we wont win Leinster or an All Ireland. We could win Div 2 - a tough ask with Clare and Limerick in it next year - but it's still not out of all possibility. Div 1 hurling would bring the team on.
Still was a great championship for us - great against Offaly, Carlow, Down and Dublin. We gave account of ourselves today, probably needed a bit of luck around the goal-mouth to be in with a shout at the end. Management and players deserve credit.

The timing doesnt even suit Galway - they have to  come in at 12 and then sit through a very one sided defeat of Cork before their match. Dublin have to go up to newry where there wont be any Antrim supporters anyway . Bad all round.
