I wasn't even born when this match took place but I think it is safe to say that nothing sickens me more than that f*c*i*g Darby moment!!!

Oh what might have been!!!

It actually pains me to watch it.

Perhaps the fact that Pat actually presents the programme through the medium of English has passed some of you buy but I would be inclined to think that that is why he (like the rest of us Ciarraíoch) pronounces it Tyrone.  Thats just a thought though!!!! :P

What would we be cheating for, sure its a well documented fact (on this board at least) that Kerry only need to beat Clare or Waterford every year in order to win the All - Ireland.

I thought the DRA couldn't change the duration of a ban, they could overturn it, keep it, or send back down the line to be reconsidered. Is this not the case?

I wish to f#!k they'd hurry up an announce the outcome whatever it is, the hateful sadistic shower of bastards, I've been waiting for it all day!

According to the RTE website it was Kerry 0-09 - Kildare 0-08 , they will have to do better against Galway!  Any idea how the Sem got on today?

GAA Discussion / Re: Paul Galvin- Kerry Captain

Congrats Paul on becoming the new Kerry captain. It was officially announced on Saturday night at the awarding of this years All Ireland medals. Darragh and Mike Frank picked up their fifth Celtic Cross, not bad going considering they are playing in the time of Northern Dominance and of course we cannot forget that Kerry haven't won minor or under 21 in years!! ;)

Congratulations to the Rangers, a mighty display today from a team who half the county were expecting to go down without a 'fight'!! According to Eamon Fitz's acceptance speech Galvin will Captain Kerry next year, he also mentioned that it would be a three-in-a-row and I for one believe him. At the moment there is no other possible contender as Galvin is the only Ranger on the panel and if per chance that changes between now and next season there is no way the powers that be would have the balls to shaft him.

GAA Discussion / Re: Dublin v Kerry all ireland SF
August 16, 2007, 02:15:32 AM
"The last time the teams met in a quarter final in 2004, Kerry ate Dublin without salt. And even more interestingly, Dublin hadn't beaten Kerry before the 1976 All-Ireland since 1934, according to a text message on Des Cahill's show last night."

I can't believe this piece of information is being qouted by anyone as it was supplied by my father, who has a slight bias towards the green and gold.  As for Kerry rivalry - there is absolutely nothing better than hammering seven shades of shite out of Cork, its something I for one will never get sick of.  The bigger the forum the better, my personal favourite was 2002, Croke Park, 15 points.  That year didn't end well for Kerry but the video of that Semi takes pride of place in my collection.  Of course this means that there is no feeling worse than loosing to that shower of ..... langers!!!!

the Deel Rover - "to all the kerry lads out there just wondering would any of ye know how many championship matches pat spillane played for kerry and how would ye rate him in the list of great kerry footballers"

In an article in today's Kerry's Eye newspaper it states that Tomás O Sé's apperance for Kerry in the match against Waterford was his 50 Championship game for the Kingdom.  This makes him one of just 13 Kerryman to represent the county so frequently.  According to the same article Pat Spillane played 56 Championship games with the county.  Darragh O Sé is in second position with 63 games under his belt with Dan O' Keefe (Kerins O'Rahillys) at the top of the pile with 66 games.  This of course means that when Darragh O Sé walks onto the pitch for the final in September he will have represented our county more times than another Kerry footballer!!! ;) ;) 8)
