The Irish News have a new feature on their Championship website.

They want you to send in your pics and videos taken at the games, either before during and after. The best of them will be put in a gallery to view... as long as they are not inappropriate.

Should be good craic.

The Irish News have a new Championship site up for this year's action.

The class thing is that you can comment on the different picks from him and also Paddy Heaney, Kenny Archer and Eamonn O'Hara. Time to have your say and express your views

Did you see Brendan Crossan picked Down to win the Football in Ulster. Got it wrong, but it was an outside bet anyway.

Just entered the Starman competition on http://www.irishnews.com/starman

You can win £50 of ONeills vouchers. Not bad. Good chance of winning too although some fella called Niall McElroy won when he picked Ciaran McElroy as the Starman in the Fermanagh Down game.... probably his brother!

Derry in today. Looks like a decent enough list to me.

Voting starts on the 20th according to the website http://www.irishnews.com/125.

But you can add comments to the blog for each side at http://www.irishnews.com/125blog, there are comments already.

Fermanagh in today. Will we have anyone bleating on about them not winning an Ulster Championship? Few juicy comments in over the Down team on the blog.

You can add your own choices when the voting starts on the 20th according to the website http://www.irishnews.com/125.

The Irish News Talks Ulster Football

SO, you think you know your onions when it comes to Gaelic football? Have an opinion on this summer's eagerly-awaited Senior Football Championship and the race to win 'the Sam' or a hunch as to who at very least can be the Kings of Ulster in 2008?

If this is your game then why not try your luck in the great The Irish News ticket giveaway to play a part in our unmissable Ulster Championship preview night at the Market Place Theatre in Armagh on Thursday, May 22. For Gaelic football fans this is a must-attend Talk Ulster Football night hosted by RTE sports presenter Joanne Cantwell who will ask the questions to an expert Gaelic football panel featuring two former All-Ireland SFC winners – Armagh's Benny Tierney and Dara O Cinneide of Kerry – leading GAA lawyer and former Tyrone player Fergal Logan and Irish News reporter and columnist Paddy Heaney.

"It is hard to believe nobody has thought of doing something like this before. It is really going to be a great night and one I am thrilled to be a part of," said Joanne, adding: "The Ulster Football Championship is always particularly special and the Talk Ulster Football night will be made all the more intriguing by the fact that this year's Championship is more wide open than it's been in years and no one can be certain of what way it's likely to pan out."

Irish News editor Noel Doran said: "I think we have managed to put together a first class panel of commentators and it promises to be a lively and entertaining night in Armagh."

There are 50 double tickets to be won in the first phase of our Readers Competition and further tickets will be released in the coming weeks. In all 400 Irish News competition winners will enjoy the opportunity to attend the event as no tickets for the night will be available for purchase.

Sports editor Thomas Hawkins is anticipating an excellent night of opinion, banter and craic to help whet the appetite for what promises to be a thrilling summer of Championship drama in Ulster and in the quest for All-Ireland glory.

"This should be a great night for Ulster gaels. It is a great initiative adding another exciting new dimension to what is an extra special time in Ulster football. The Ulster Championship this year throws up so many questions," he said.

"Tyrone are the current gaelic kings of Ulster but can they retain their crown and have they the strength in depth to reclaim the Sam Maguire? Will Monaghan continue their great advances of 2007 and what lies ahead for the football giants of Armagh? Can this present Down squad rekindle the glory years?

"Are Paddy Crozier's Derry capable of an Ulster final triumph this year? These questions and many more will be up for discussion at The Irish News Talks Ulster Football night and I think we are in for a terrific event.''
