Lads,
Can any of you settle a debate, a friend of mine of Galway extraction is adamant that the Connacht final is on the 12th July, everything else seems to point towards the 19th July. Does anyone know for sure or which date traditionally its on ?

thanks

According to gaa.ie it's the 19th as well.

Likewise the Irish Times GAA supplement of last week.

Do you think Galway will make the final?

I'd say the reason for the change is that if there were no qualifiers the Connacht winners would play the Leinster winners. That's the only reason I can think of as the semi-final is winnersof Connacht/qualifier v winners of Leinster/qualifier this year. Mayo v Dublin semi-final again so! :P
