The Benfica game scares the shit out of me now. Even with it at home I have no doubt but that Queiroz will come up with a tactical masterplan to get a draw.

I agree with you Seanie not feeling to confident about the Benfica game especially if last night is anything to by. When the first 11 can't do the business who does fergie think can break the deadlock O'Shea / Richardson etc. God help us if he's relying on anyone outside the first 11. Will Ole be back for the Benfica game?

Gary Neville actually came across to me and said about Saha, 'his head has gone, he's going to miss this," Lennon said in The Guardian

If Gary Neville could have predicted this why didn't he step in and save Saha the trouble?

By all accouts Heinze wants out of the club because he was pissed at the situation with Van Nistelrooy. May end up at Bayern.
Where did you hear this Barney?

As for last night - the first half Celtic were chasing shadows but yet united had created very little chances if any!  >:( The second half was a little more open with Celtic actually getting some crosses into the box. United didn't look like scoring and when Jarosik won the free (mind you the w*nker dived) Up stepped Nakamura to repeat what he did in September. But what was Saha at when played in by Rooney acres of space and he tried a feeble flick over the goalie (this from our top striker - embarassing) As for the penalty the less said the better - low and hard everytime. Disgusted this morning I am

Wonder if Grimley would be interested in taking over from Joe? And is John Raff up to the job of filling JK boots just because he GOT TO an all-ireland club with St Galls

Cheers Benny

What a waster he was! I see he is now plying his trade (if you can call it that) at Nice. Good riddance any chance they would buy Richardson  ::)

I think for the game against Celtic Saha, Evra and possibly Giggs or Ronaldo could be restedwith the replacements being Heinze for Evra and Fletcher (I know) in for Giggs or Ronaldo as for replacing Saha thats anyones guess with little other options on the bench. Seen the line up and the subs for Saturday and there wasn't 1 striker on the bench.
Torres signs for Utd in January[/color]I wish  ;)

more good news from headquarters especially for small clubs. if the county hurlers get into the ulster championship they want £1000 per club to fiance their training etc better look after the balls from now on cant afford to loose any!.

does this just apply to the hurling clubs in the county? Anyway I think this is a complete disgrace forcing any club to finance a counties training etc. I don't think there are too many clubs about Armagh that can just fire £1000 at the county's hurling team which made up primarily of Keady and Middletown folk

JK could try Clarke in midfield with an inside forward line of Stevie McD, Nippy and Peadar Toal. I could McDonnell and Nippy winning their fair share of ball with Peadar getting the breaks down in front. Just a thought

Anyone think we should try out Paul McGrane at full back in the McKenna cup?
If we use the McKenna Cup to unearth a new midfielder are two would it not be better to have them playing alongside someone with McGrane's experience instead of wasting him in full back?

I'd swap ye Carrick for him anyday but I think that Scholes doesn't have that many yrs left in him so he could replace him but like you say Gerrards way of the pace at the minute whereas Scholesy is on top of his game
