I'd prefer Casement as a neutral venue. Monaghan have done well there the last few times and a lot of the current squad would have had plenty of games there.

I know from talking to Down supporters, they are very confident of making the Ulster Final. While not dismissive of the Monaghan challenge they understandably point to the big recent wins against us in the League and McKenna cup. The form guide points to a Down win.

Hopefully we'll come out firing on all cylinders and buck the trend.

Armagh thought similarly in 2010 and got humped. Monaghan are most dangerous when they are written off, I can see them winning this one.

The old way would of been;
                                          Kerry v Fermanagh
                                          Cork V Longford
                                          Down v Kildare
                                          Mayo v Tyrone

From Armagh's prespective, I think the situation now is that we lose, we're down, if we win, we stay up and would make the quarters if two of Down, Mayo and Dublin lost. If we draw we'll join a clatter of other teams on 6 points and I think our score difference would be enough to make us doomed.

So many permutations. Ill be delighted with a win and survival 8)

Beat Donegal and were safe. Easier said than done. If Mayo lose to Kerry and Dublin (quite possible), and Down beat Laois, Armagh are safe regardless.

Just a word of warning to Down. Bring your own cameras and place them down the tunnel and maybe have the players mike'd up.
You have to do this just incase Armagh lose.

;D Cant see our fellow Brits sledging us in a partitionist way. Maybe we could all sing GSTQ together in the tunnel, Or perhaps take it down from the mast Irish Traitors would be more apt.

Cant see us coming close to Down at the minute to be honest. The feelgood factor from the great win they had against Dublin allied to our team being decimated all points to a handy victory for the Mournemen.
It looks bleak for us presently. Division 2 football beckons Im afraid to say :(

Willie is a head the ball. It seems like none of the relations of victims from Kingsmills or the soldiers families want anything to do with him or his ilk. The only reason he wanted the parade to go ahead was to antagonise the decent Catholic people of Whitecross with these blood and thunder Orange bands. Thank fook justice has prevailed.
