New MI is good but not the best.

First MI  was decent. Second  was laughable. Third can't even  remember, must  have been rubbish too.  No idea how  many there  are in total , but I won't be  watching any more .

Really can't  hack smug head Cruise  . It's like watching   Jeffrey Donaldson for 2 hours

The MI films have been quite good with the exception of 2 which was utter w**k. They are definitely better than the rubbish  Daniel Craig James Bond films. I liked bond when it was all a bit of fun but the more serious Craig films have been poor yet get good reviews .
Would 100% agree that second one was absolute garbage , but thought the the rest  of theMI films were good though (Also enjoyed the Craig bond films bar Quantum of Solace )

Eamonnca1

I liked Craig in Casino Royale and in Skyfall. The others were sh1te. That last one, I just gave up watching halfway through. Didn't see any compelling reason to keep watching.

nrico2006

First Mission Impossible was good at the time. Rest been poor enough. Daniel Craig Bonds aren't amazing but definitely better than the Mission Impossibles.

New Miles Morales poor enough, thought the original was very good so had high expectations.

Watched the Hudsucker Proxy recently, really bad too.
'To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal, light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle.'

Jell 0 Biafra

Yeah hudsucker proxy is probably  the worst Cohen Bros movie.

Blowitupref

Isn't Daniel Craig portrayal of James Bond closer to how Ian Fleming had him in his books?
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

bennydorano

Watched a random film called Kid with a bike (ITVX - 2011 Belgian), good film, not a happy film, sad, a bit grim at times but worth the watching.

Watched the first 2 MI Films with my youngest son over the last 2 nights and they are still very good even after all these years and 2 was better than 1 imo. Watching No.3 tomorrow night but I remember not liking it at the time.

Harold Disgracey

Oppenheimer is fantastic, brilliant performances from Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. can't say I noticed the 3 hours run time.

screenexile

Oppenheimer is a serious piece of work. Probably too long but other than that I thought it was exceptional. A really interesting story, great performances, stunning visuals and sounds throughout the film as well.

Also it wasn't too complicated like some of Nolan's other films like Tenet or Inception which was a plus.

I'm not sure it would be for everyone's taste but I thought it was class and anybody will do well to stop Murphy getting the Oscar for this he was outstanding.

J70

Took my son to the new Spider-verse film. I thought it was very good. Looking forward to the continuation next year.

My wife took our daughter to the Barbie film at the same time.

Cinema was showing it on four screens. Place was packed out, pink everywhere. Looks like it is going to be huge! Wife said it was very good.

I actually would have gone to Barbie (it's supposed to be a lot of fun), but the lad was mad to see Spider-verse.

So I'll just have to wait until it hits streaming. :P
