i have a few apps on it already, anyone recommend some that they ahve used?

RedLaser.

You scan a barcode and it searches the internet to see where you can get it online for cheaper.

downloaded it earlier, havent had a chance to use it

Tried it a few times when I was up the town, just to test it out. Very handy.

The Sky + app is handy, you can record programmes when you are out and about.

Just testing it out, never used it with the end purpose of getting something.

Downloaded Runkeeper (free) last week for when out running, tracks distance travelled, speed, elevation etc and plots your journey on a map. It's pretty impressive when you sort the niggles out with the GPS.

Smashed my screen today.  Apple shop says it'll cost over £100 to fix - and I don't have any insurance.  Any other options?  This is my second iphone, lost the first one a few weeks ago and got a refurbished one for £115.  Reeeeally could do without the cash outflow.
Might have to get the insurance and sit it out a few weeks...

Got my screen replaced at mobileease iphone repair online for 50 quid. Was sent off and back 2 days later.
Know it wont be the last time either!

Try this link in safari. Doesn't work for me, possibly due to the fact I have latest version of software. Seen it working on someone elses iPhone.

iphone.tvcatchup.com

Can watch live TV from the freeview channels. Was looking forward to watching Countdown in work, but wasn't to be.
