O2 need to enable picture msging. Phone customer support and ask them.

it was working grand the other week. wonder why the change?

Did you do a factory reset/restore on it?

nope certainly didnt. but a couple of weeks ago i sync'd it with itunes and they got me to do another update. think it was just a bug fixing thing from memory. would that have balls'd it up?

Send MMS to 1010. also in settings make sure it says wap.o2.co.uk instead of idata.o2.co.uk? When you do the update it changes to idata automatically....

should all of them be changed eg cellular data etc or just MMS?
hopefully that'll do the trick

Candyman

Cellular data should be mobile.o2.co.uk
MMS should be wap.o2.co.uk

both should replace idata.o2.co.uk which was programmer
as standard when the software upgrade was performed.

Is it possible to disable the landscape mode on the iPhone? Bugs me.

Lads, I've just gotten a pay and go iphone.  I'm a bit of a technaphobe and wondered if it costs to access the internet or other services?  Also, when I transferred my old pay and go number the £10 credit that had been put on in the Apple store was deleted and replaced by the £4.12 I had on the old mobile.  Should I just write that £10 off or is it retriveable.
Cheers.

Candyman

I'd imagine the £10 was taken for the monthly web bolt on which gives you unlimited web and wifi for £10 per month...

Skiddybadoo

Thanks, Candyman, that prob explains it.

Is 1gb of data allowance per month enough or would you use it up quickly enough?

Dunno about down in Mexico but I thought all IPhone tariffs have unlimited Internet access

Depends on your monthly agreement I thought. £45 a month bought unlimited data.
