Noel Hegarty played right corner-back on an All Ireland winning team. Should be good enough to take your no.2 spot there Moysider, even if he played quite a bit at half-back over the years as well.

I bought chicken fillets in Supervalu last week and the wrapper stated that they came from the farm of Fergal Caulfield in Scotstown. I presume this is the same Fergal who was on the successful Monaghan team during the 1980s. Gerry McCarville was another on that time with an agricultural background.

I dont know any Fergal Caulfield, but Fergus Caulfied was a good player!

My typo. Apologies. :)

I know you have a bit of a Mayo bias,  and Jimmy Bourke and Joe McGrath were both great footballers,  but there must be room there for the great Ambrose Rodgers at 14. Your problem is that both Bourke and Claffey played mostly at 13.

was/is dermot mccabe a farmer??

No, he's a sales rep

I think Dermot is a computer programmer or something like that. He used to work as one in Lakeland Dairies before moving on. Maybe he changed careers. Any team of farmers that doesn't have Bernard Morris in it is ridiculous. The man could de-horn a bullock with his bare hands. Oh yeh, put him Ctr Back or you'll make him very angry!

Feel free to change around that team. I m getting bored with it to be honest. Too many Chb s and no Chf s. Like havin 3  St. Patricks and no God. Wonder could we come up with a team of priests?

D4S

Ambrose Rogers has to be cert for this team, you could put him at CHF or FF!
