Quote from: Pub Bore on September 29, 2026, 12:36:01 PMThat story about an alleged Iranian "terror plot" to attack an American base in England.  A case of a lie being half way round the world before the truth has got its boots on?  The funniest bit was Trump claiming "yeah, we've been watching these guys for months".  The five suspects are all UK nationals from London, they've been bailed (surely a first in a international terror plot) and there were no explosives found in the vans.

Rumours are the farmer  spoiled a false flag operation.

There's something big  coming. You can almost smell it.   Brits talking  about  needing numbers to fight in  a war and Germany  trying to bring in mandatory conscription for  youngsters. There were huge protests recently

False flag  event incoming.....

Israel also threatened the Brits after the Brits placed the ban on importing goods from the occupied territories.

There's something afoot.
I don't think there is. Some Roma scoundrels robbing from farms veered too close to an air force base, got nabbed, the press creamed themselves and the White House tried to make hay.

Hopefully that's all there is to it!

Netanyahu controlling the narrative on this one.

And  as we all know  he wouldn't tell a lie.

That entire story from start to finish is a terrifying horror story that should be beyond human beings. I have never quite read anything like it, up to and including the aborted execution.

It would make anybody despair.

Madness.

The Guillotine or firing squad would be a better way of dealing with the like of that

From an entirely practical perspective, she was originally sentenced to death via the electric chair, and under Tennessee law that could still be used as the crime pre-dates 1999.

That being said, nobody should be executed by the State, under any circumstances.

The US quite often reveals itself in certain instances to be no better than a 3rd World country.

The state tried to kill her twice and is now trying to keep her alive, presumably so they can kill her at some stage in the future?

Farcical given they stay on death row for decades.

She asked for death penalty for a horrific crime she confessed do. Should have gotten one in base of skull the minute court had adjourned.

HSBC banker banned from City because he dodged fares. Judge gave him 10 months prison suspended.

Given his job he likely had take home pay of £400k.

He obtained a 50% discount jobseekers deduction on top of jiggery pockery with booking.
