Beyond anything i could have dreamed. Their will be time to talk about winning more but winning that first 1 feels like everything.

Add an Under 15 and strong favourites fot an u20 and youd have to think the Harps are here to stay.

Hard luck to camross. A great club

Ye Harps should be around for a while can't see anyone touching them in the u20 either. Hope they take leinster Cship seriously but won't be easy after winning there first. Well done.

Not sure how seriously they'll be taking the u20? First games this week. Could be still on the beer!

Anyway, delighted for them. Great to see a new team break through. They could feasibly dominate for a while, but they won't get it all their own way - CB will be definitely be gunning for them, and in time, Camross and Castletown will have a decent crack at it.

They could haver a crack at Leinster some time, but I don't think this'll be the year.

I wonder how long they can keep Ken?!

They worked really hard today.
And on top of that, Camross were really really sloppy and unsure of themselves in everything they did.
The contrast in subs sprung and what they have left (in some cases) and what they have to offer (in other cases) was quite dramatic.

Were Camross too clever this year in managing their top two teams?
Complacency can seep in fairly undetected when it becomes clear that no matter how much one guy does in training, he's not being brought up, and no matter how little another guy does he's going to be in the top 18 on match day.

The Harps showed blatant disregard for this all year.
Guys were in and out based on form.

Congrats to the Harps. What a way to make the breakthrough. Looked a well-drilled, well coached, fit team.
Camross very poor today. Do not have the players to run the ball and play through the lines. And still they persist.
I was wrong, couldnt see Camross being as bad as they were in last years final but they were.
Harps should be around for a while but nothing is guaranteed. They won't care about that for now.

Mayo first, and now The Harps.

Super victory from a hungry side. Like any big game, the goal is to nullify the opposition talisman for 2 big reaons.. #1 so they don't get into flow, and #2 so they don't energize the rest of their team with big scores or big plays. And I could see in the harps defender's demeanor that Mossy Keyes was to be stopped at all costs. There were 3 key examples of this in the 1st half, he got blocked down at the terrace sideline and out for a sideline by Podge Delaney, again he got hooked by Podge Delaney on the 21 as he struck for goal.. and for probably Mossy's only shot from play in the game, he was forced to shoot at the far corner, terrace side and hit it wide. I thought these were massive for both teams, in opposite ways.

Justin Duggan was super, 1-3 from play and set up 2 points directly himself. James got 3 hard earned points. Podge Delaney & Dunne were real leaders. Proper tuned in defenders. Harps struck good points from distance also, Dunne with a beauty like he did against CB. Special for Boggy & Conor Dunne to get a title. Gave their all for club & county and solid gentlemen.

Camross were flat which can sometimes happen, but in this case, I think it was simply they came up against a ravenous team that simply wanted it more all over. Harps won nearly every position and had a wider range of shooters popping up with scores throughout. Camross were a little aimless looking for Mossy to produce that magic to kick them into life, he tried hard. Mark Dowling who was so needed for that big of flair/goal threat was clearly injured, even though he did well and got 2 nice points.

The harps can now be proud of writing themselves into history and as it was mentioned in all post-match interviews.. the underage work (that has been pinned against them in recent years) finally got its just reward. And that'll be nice for the players in the years to come and less pressure.

The Harps are now into the Champions league of club hurling and who better to test themselves against only the KK champions. Obviously they will be big underdogs and some of their younger players although very skillful, they will see the step up in hurling & speed which will be great for their development. I do believe harps will give a good account of themselves and do Laois proud.

Unreal performance from The Harps yesterday, every player and subs were men possessed with intent on winning. Nobody could have predicted that score line. I think the Kilkenny Champions will get a serious test on November 8th in Portlaoise.

Upon second viewing, the Haros were excellent, and not taking away from their performance but Camross were so, so poor.

You'd have to question what preparations went on up there. They appeared to have zero tactical approach. They really suffered on the basics also. First touch, handling, positioning in the breaks, puckouts. All were terrible. Some hard questions will have to be asked of Mossy and whoever his coach was. Was.
