Donie sent off for a strike in portlaoise match. Ref didn't see it but linesman reported him. Donie handed a 2 match by CCC (county board) Arles Kileen appealed and were heard by appels committee who are independent. They overturned the suspension fully and Donie was free to play on Sunday. The ref who gave the red card reffed a senior match on Saturday or Sunday and did the line on another but the ref who reported the strike as linesman stood down from his match. Apparently a few meetings occurred but between who I don't know. Refs reported to be not happy by some but have not gone out in protest so no one really knows the full story other than the few people involved.

Are portlaoise overpriced at 15/2 on pp? They are in the qf's, they will have home advantage. From memory they were much shorter odds before the sfc started. Have they had a spate of injuries/suspension?.
