Delighted for AK.Got exactly what they deserved. The county board needs to be held to some sort of accountability. To see an inter county referee stand down is a disgrace to the organisation based off his interpretation of the rules.
Teams like AK need to stay away from the appeals committee and take their medicine.

Killeen club aren't to blame. I'm far from their biggest fan but every club would have done the same.
The hearings committee is there to be used. The problem is the lack of transparency. We don't know how the suspension was overturned. An explanation by the hearings committee would be interesting.

On the matches saw all 4 this weekend, 2 in OMP, 2 on Clubber.
Park a bit hard done by on the margin. Gave it a right go.
Strad v Heath was poor but Strad are a big, strong team who'll give Courtwood plenty of problems.
Graigue are the most frustrating team in the whole county. So much potential and every year they come up with a stinker of a game like today. Fair play to Killeshin. Deserved win.
O'Dempseys were miles better than Arles Killeen. Killeen are an aging team and have almost no pace. Will be relegated either this year or next year.

The referee scenario is shocking now. We have very poor referees taking part in the senior and intermediate club championship. Some have a severe lack of fitness and actually know how of the rules.

And now, like him or not, Seamus Mulhare who's our best referee outside of Maurice Deegan is now stepped away. It's believed the referees are backing Mulhare so are they all stepping away then or will the cash cow stop them?

The relegation aspect of the senior B is nearly the most interesting thing left this year. Reckon Port wont be stopped in the rest of the championship proper.
Those 4 games all look pretty even to me and one or two "big name clubs" could well be relegated. Emo, Graiguecullen, A Killeen all very vulnerable.
That said, you could see the last two or three intermediate winners going back down. Crettyard, Park Ratheniska and The Heath were all down intermediate very recently.

So all our Refs step down fair play to them but one little weed puts up his hand to ref the game. Fair loyalty there.

And yet the ref who's decision was overturned not only reffed the first match but did the line in the second one. No other matches called off due to lack of refs not much of a rebellion. I understand that the one of the refs involved may be upset but a lot of stuff which people are saying seems to be uninformed rubbish in the absence of actual facts

No, they didn't. However, there's a meeting tonight and I believe the referees representatives are rightly very unhappy.

Meeting was called off. I believe the said referee didn't have any backing today at all and seems to be a solo run now

I've been out of the loop for a while. what went on that the referee stepped down, was it because of the decision tho overturn the sending off?
Winners are not those who never fail, but those who never quit!
