Rovers absolutely robbed in Athens. The Rovers penalty was soft, but the AEK one in the 89th minute was scandalous. Cost them €267k...!!

AEK beat Aberdeen 6-0 a few weeks ago for context

It was unlucky to concede, but a win would have flattered Rovers.

Hopefully Cork City can produce a shock on Sunday.

Shels and Rovers on one point after 3 games. How much do thry get for a draw and a win?

€400k a win, €130ish a draw.

My understanding is 7 points likely gets you through and Rovers have Icelandic and Maltese opposition to come.

So some council scamps watered the pitch in the middle of that storm, causing a waterlogged pitch. Inference seems to be that there was a wager on that game being called off.

Handy one for St Patricks tonight against Waterford. Good chance to boost the goal differnce.

The team in second beat a winless team at the bottom. Great call.

I can't see anyone laying a glove on Rovers. I hear their ambition this year is Europa League group stage football.

Looks like that diet of association football is a healthy one.

Bizarre one today.

Ringmahon have withdrawn from the FAI cup because Cork might be in the AIH final.

Long story short because Bohs are in Europe on Thursday, the game must be played on Sunday, which is the day of both the AIH final and WC final. Ringmahon as a club want to watch the final so pulled out. Nothing stopping them having an 11am or 5pm kick off to avoid a clash.

Leaving aside the small matter of Galway in the semi final, have you ever heard the likes of this?
