Player of the year before the season has even started LOL

EC Unique

I will stick my neck out and say if he stays serious injury free I think he will score 20+ league goals this season. I rate Torres the best premier striker as an individual but Rooney will get more chances than most other strikers with the talent around him.

I know what you're saying but it is no different than throwing a few quid on a team you think will win Sam.

Yes it is different, it's like betting on GAA player of the year before the AI has started, stupid really - A player can get injured/asked to play in an unfamilar role etc.. never heard of a full team getting injured..

its the same as betting on a player to be top goalscorer.

Again no it isn't..

You do know the PFA player of the year ballots are submitted around February/March time ?

It is a flawed system and doesn't take into consideration the 'business end' of the the league, CL and FA Cup - In a season like the one before when Ronaldo was awesome it doesn't matter too much but we seen last year when there was no real stand out player how much a farce it was when Giggs won the popularity contest.

So no it isn't the 'same' as top goalscorer which is completely definitive.

Its the same as in it is an individual award, as opposed to a team award, which was what i quoted  ::)

No you said 'its the same as betting on a player to be top goalscorer' which I've pointed out that it clearly isn't...

Yes it is the same as betting on a player to be top goalscorer in that it is an individual award, unlike betting on a team to win sam which is a team award   ::)
