It seems Wes Brown is about to sign a new deal after all too. Both sides are meeting half-way and he's getting 45k, not his biggest fan but he probably deserves that on comparative terms with the role he's had this season to other players.
Is the Blackburn game Saturday evening? Never recall United having much luck there, even back to the SAS days. Need to win to keep the momentum going at this stage.

Did anyone mention Carragher? I think Brown is about the only weak link in the United team.

pretty much the whole team where poor.

i dont think Brown is a great player, but as has been said hes had a good season.

brown is not overrated, carragher is. IMO

Fair enough comment Minder, he's my only worry for the Champions League, barring injury. He's nowhere near top class, but he's done a great job for us this season and is a great squad option in the defence.
But if it can be done with Traore then it can be won with Brown, I hope.
