United sign Tielemans from Villa. In fairness they're going about their business, 3 signings now and the latest 2 totally out of the blue. 3 decent players but no big superstar name, I wonder is that them finished.

Hadn't realised the Ederson signing was off. Theres 2 signings now for about the same as Spurs have paid for Fernandes. Would expect another for sure, Baleba maybe?

Lots of articles pleading poverty doing the rounds which I think is a smokescreen, well hope it is because as it stands this squad will really struggle to make top 5 next season given all the extra games although Liverpool are in a similar boat.

The club will post record revenues for 26/27 season, it will smash anything they've done previously and Ineos know they need CL football to grow commercial revenue which has relatively stalled and allowed all the other domestic rivals to catch up and fallen miles behind Real Madrid.

Got to buy a left back and another midfielder, can't rely on Mount or Shaw and it was a miracle the later played in every league game last season.

An excellent season for United is matching last seasons league points, making the last 8 of the CL and winning a trophy but we've no idea is Carrick the right man and which players are going to come in.

When you put this up nearly two weeks ago I wasn't hugely worried as I was convinced at least two more players were coming in. Now it appears it's the usual approach from Ineos-Glazers. This squad will really struggle over 60 games but the ownership want to cut things as tight as possible. Really all they have done is replace Casemiro and Ugarte. So you're the same as last season or slightly better as there will be a competent goalkeeper for the first 6 weeks, unlike last season. Rashford will likely be an addition too......I expect Carrick will get more out of him that grumpy Amorim. But it is nowhere near enough.

I'm ok with not competing for the huge 100m+ signings for now. United need depth. I wonder what the real story about Lewis-Skelly is? Surely a no-brainer at the reported 45m so clearly that story has to be rubbish or there's more to it.

Fabrizio seems to think they are in for at least two more signing - Kone for MF and another left back option.

The squad will need them that's for sure with the European games this season.

Midfield was brutally light last year, with Europe and hopefully abit more than 2 cup games players will need rotating. Ugarte was worse than useless so anything is an upgrade, but bodies are needed to improve, at least one more top midfielder, left back cover and a back up striker, a centre back probably also needed given the ones there are either inconsistent/kids or injury prone or both, Maguire is the most reliable but would be unfair to ask him to play 2 games a week.

Left wing and striker cover probably needed as well, Rashford could give that but I wouldn't trust the p***k as far as I can throw him.

They want to pick up Leon Goretzka FOC, then slap £85m down and test Palace resolve for Wharton and the same for MLS of Arsenal

If they picked up Goretzka and either of Wharton/MLS for £85m combined that would be savage business

Should also look at Nwaneri, only 19 and serious talent, but Arsenal unlikely to want to bolster Utd any further if they were to lose MLS on top of Ayden Heaven who went rightly last year

That's not money laundering though.

You are saying criminals are putting money into clubs, washing it around and then taking it out as clean profit. And that's absolutely not what is going on.
