Looking at the forums they want Rodgers.... or Rafa. Really.
Steve Bruce should be free soon... another club legend.
I hope Ole stays for another few seasons though  🤞 🤞
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

All joking aside at least Bruce has some sort of CV. The whole Ole thing has been ridiculous. Ok for a caretaker manager but after that ffs the ball boy would do better.

No one wants Rafa.

This team should be winning the league and going deep in Europe, look at the embarrassment of attacking talent and the money spent ffs.

Attacking talent isn't enough to do that. You build any successful team from the back, Uniteds defence is the most disjointed of the top 6 teams, the lack of quality defensive midfielders to protect that defence remains one of the biggest issues. As Gary Neville said yesterday United are awful out of possession, along with the many attacking talents he played alongside with it had plenty work horses.

RedHand88

Buying a 36 year old past his best attacker when you clearly need a new back 4 and a defensive midfielder will go down as one of the worst pieces of transfer business from any United manager ever.

United are effectively playing with 10 men when they don't have the ball.

Are there many within the Utd fan base that still back ole at this point?

Ole did reasonably well when he took over, but he was never the answer. United should have used those 6 months after José left to get the right man. When Ole steadied the ship, at the end of that season, he should have been patted on the back, thanked, and  sent on his way,  with his reputation very much  enhanced.

United might learn soon, mind you no sign of it yet, that being successful isn't by taking the Football Manager/FIFA Video game approach of just buying expensive attacking players with no plan on how to integrate them into a functioning structured team. Albeit you need a manager that has a plan. United don't.
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

His name is being touted on Redcafe. I admit that's maybe not reliable. United will never win anything with Maguire or Wan-Bissaka in a back 4.

Best start to a league campaign under Ole

What happens if United sit deep, absorb the pressure, hit Rashford on the break, and beat Liverpool at the weekend?

All forgiven?

That would be the best result for the chasing teams (not utd)

United don't struggle in these types of fixtures as they do with some of the others. The players know that no drop of performance level is acceptable in these games.

This is even more concerning when considering the manager, that he cant seem to find the level of consistency required to mount a challenge.

Utd are 2/1 at home this weekend. Considering how ole has proven to get the results in big games, this is worth a punt.

Let's see how easy it'll be for Mo to make that defence look like school kids from the blind school.

I'm sure Mo will be OK but can we leave out  jokes at the expense of disabled kids?
