Not one post in this thread today shows how bad the current situation is.
There will be no shortage of them(United fans) posting on the Liverpool thread if they lose to Everton tomorrow.

I think they'll wait till the Napoli game before going onto the Liverpool thread
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

They're idiots then. As are Liverpool fans who do the same on the United thread.

Mourinho looks like he's desperate to be put out of his misery, team selection and subs the last 3 games have made no sense. Pogba again a joke, another disgraceful performance and Lukaku not much better.

United desperate for a director of football, means replacing the manager doesn't cause as much upheaval.

As for the man who many want as the next United manager Pochettino once again his team manage to lose a big match after been in control; This happens time and time again.

Not beating United was the last straw for the Southampton board  ;D

To be fair they've only conceded 3 more goals than United this season

From saying before the Crystal Palace game that United would by top four by the end of this year to now a miracle needed to finish 4th. No doubt he's asking to get sacked but i don't think the business men running the club will play ball just yet.

If he's still in a job by January he'll be saying top 8 is the goal  ;D

From saying that they'll make up ground on top 4 rivals this month to now saying top 4 would be a miracle in space of about 10 days.

I genuinely don't know what Mourinho is at now, there was always a clear methodology to his public words but over the past few years it's more and more like he's a man fed up with the game.

He wants out, prior to the City game I had hoped he could turn it around and there were signs of it but coming back from the international break its clear he wants out. The team he's picked to start in the last 3 games and the subs he's made haven't made a great deal of sense then then the outburst at Pogba then this. He seems determined not to hang around until the end of the season.

It is pretty much the same as the 2nd stint at Chelsea at this stage. Picking teams that fans are genuinely wondering if he wants sacked - saying the players don't care and accusing them of not fighting for the badge.

There is still a place in football for Jose Mourinho but at this stage it seems to me very clear and obvious that he needs a good 12-18 months break.

He also still lives in a hotel after all this time, it's completely baffling. United went for the quick fix....in any other year it probably would have worked but it's now time for the club to look elsewhere, accept that they must embrace a true project.
