Well that's it will be United's first trophy-less season since 2004/05. Lost this title before tonight IMO City with their home record this season were always going to take that opportunity given to them.

As for the game itself disappointing to lose on one lack of concentration from a set piece for the rest of the game Degea was rarely troubled.

City always looked like scoring a 2nd more than a utd equaliser.

Listening to Niall Quinn is torture!
You'd have to wonder has Ferguson been getting too wrapped in tactics and formations instead of just throwing on his best 11.
The less likely lads who were put in tonight just didn't cut it.

All hope rests on Newcastle now.

Over hyped game was poor how many shots on goal, saves? still that result will be good enough to win them the title now.

City probably just about deserved the win based on their first half dominance. Toure is an animal of a player. Disappointing game overall though.

QuoteGood to hear Niall Quinn commentating.

I thought Quinner was dreadful actually. Unbelievably biased towards City

+1, did my f**king head in listening to him.
Inaugural Football Championship Prediction Winner.

Can't believe slur Alex didn't start with Valencia, IMO Uniteds best player all year.  Giggs and Nani were pathetic and had no interest in tracking back to defend, which left Evra and Jones being torn new ones all night.

Defenders were on top tonight i didn't see much great forward play from either side.

Mancini out fergied fergie ! Changing of the guard. United shit the nest over the last few weeks.

If Tevez had have stayed it would have been over a few weeks ago.

Manchini still saying that they have 2 tough games and united have 2 easy games on 5 live. Lol

Can't wait to hear ferguson if he doesn't send out Phleam

Looks like Ferguson's miracle of winning a premier league title with this bad outfit isn't going to happen.

It's nearly a miracle in itself that he got them 8 points ahead only for them to fill the togs at the end.

City far far better side than United.

Noisy neighbours will be a lot noisier from now on.

I just watched that - he seems a bit unstable.

Without a doubt he has mental problems, nobody could naturally be that much of a prat.

Agreed EC.. ;D

Not for the first time Fergie got the selection wrong in a big game. Great to see Mancini get under his skin too!

So much for City shitting the togs.
There is plenty of time for that. There will be more twists in this. Can't see City getting 2 wins.

City had all the quality that was on show, United offered nothing and got what they deserved.

Ferguson is all over the map, to bench Valencia played into the hands of City and to see park running around out there like his head was cut off shows him up for what he is, a very weak player who should never have been given the start.

Rooney was complete shite, could not string two passes together and looked disinterested.

Carrick was the only player to come out of that game with any credit, that was rank and the league is probably gone now, in truth the way they have played in the last few games it should be gone!
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

Fair play to City they deserved to win on that performance, serious work rate in the middle and at the back to prevent Utd getting into shooting areas. Utd looked much better when they went 442, I wish they always went like that :-\

Newcastle game is now massive and by no means a given.

Seen Vidic on the bench and can't help but think the league would be over already if he had stayed fit :-\
