Don't really like Ramos for some of his carry on but there's no doubting how good a player he is and has been for a while now. Kind of guy if he plays for your team you'll love him but hate him otherwise. As well as the versatility defensively he would bring he will be a threat to score from set pieces - something United have lacked for some time now - probably since Vidic left. He would be a very good addition.

Coleman is tailor made for what LVG wants to do and he needs to be got. I think it would be a good move for him too. Schneiderlin similarly. Would be a really good addition I think.

Like all these stories you can only believe them when you see a picture of them holding a shirt/scarf though.
A green and yellow scarf or a red one?

It'd be a red one. Employees would probably be fired for protesting about ownership/management.  ;)

Lol. Utd are only linked with a player and already the brigade are on calling him an overage diving cheat.

So we should ignore his previous form just because he's joining United? OK.

another diving, injury feigning cheat to add to the PL roster...that's just great

He'll fit in well!!!

I hope they get him, over the hill, dodgy temperament sounds good to me. Also Jones signed a new deal for another 4 years. . . Class!!!
Over the hill?...29....as a central defender..really?

I dont mind about his age, I just dont see him at the type of centre half that is required. Maybe and hopefully if he is signed he will prove me wrong and to be fair with his experience and past success he could only be a good influence on the younger defenders at the club.

:-X

The irony, Paddy Bradley

Tear away. What ever makes you happy.

Renewed my season ticket, fancy a good year (top 3) but think it will be very competitive with Arsenal stronger and Chelsea always formidable.

what in unner a god are you blethering about Shawshank? you've some semi for Paddy.  Let it go

Maroon Manc

Thought we'd have 3 signings wrapped up by now so a bit dissapointed. Think we go on tour in about ten days time so I'd like to think we'd have signed another 2 players by then. It looks likely Schneiderlin will sign, don't think that would affect any more for Schweinsteiger. I like Ramos and he'd be a good signing but I'd rather we went after  Benzema if the rumours are true about Rafa playing Ronnie upfront instead of Benzema, there is a real lack of good centre forwards available although we must have someone lined up as we're touting RVP all around Europe.

He right back situation is strange, it looks like the club thought Alves was going to come hence why we've not moved for a right back yet.

I wouldn't let Di Maria leave unless we were getting a world class player in exchange, I don't see a Cavani for Di Maria swap deal as that would leave PSG with just a 34 year old Ibra.

magpie seanie

PSG are keen on Di Maria though and they did pay 50M for David Luiz. Hope springs eternal.

snoopdog

Why would anyone want to see Di Maria leave. He is a fantastic footballer and will hopefully settle down and show us his full talent this season.

magpie seanie

I don't want Di Maria to leave but I would take Cavani for him.

Boycey

Several of the more reliable sources saying today that Van Persie is on his way to Fenerbache.

I'd suspect there could be a flurry of activity at United soon. The hold up so far possibly down to the need to get some huge wages of the books first? Falcao, RVP and Nani takes a mind boggling 600k a week off the wage bill  :o

Boycey

Di Maria just limped out of the Copa final after 30 mins with a hamstring injury... :-\

Hasn't worked out. Get rid and recoup as much of that £60m as possible.

GJL

Anyone know much about this Darmain man that has been signed?
