Some people are into their cars, others their houses, others their clothes, others toy trains etc. It surely isn't hard to understand someone being defensive about something they are obviously into. I like my cars, can't really afford what I would like, but would still try and keep mine tidy and clean. Some people like to be out in the best shirts, shoes etc. I'd have no interest in that. But I don't look down my nose at anyone who does. Each to their own and all that.

The 12 bloody pubs of Christmas... What's that all about?? My wee town was absolutely awash last night with young ones (and some who were old enough to know better) in dodgy attire making a nuisance of themselves.. What's wrong with drinking 12 pints in the one pub like we used to do back in the day?

I've never done this 12 pubs jab.  No interest in getting to a pub, coat off, settled down to a fine pint of stuff and then next thing it is coat on and out... feck that.

Agreed. The only drawback of the 12 pubs, is the moving 11 times.
