Byrne, Delaney, Swayne and Burke will be massive additions to the panel. Good to see.

I don't know the latter two but Byrne is a seriously good player and Delaney is a great option in a number of positions.

This was a game we could have and should have won. This is a good team but some of the execution of the handpass was horrible, balls not finding their man, going over their heads and even passing straight to the Kildare players at vital times in the game. Burke made a difference when he came on but a bit of complacency in defence by him saw him being robbed of the ball by a Kildare forward who was through on goal and was hand tripped by Burke who was trying to make up for his mistake. He was unfortunate but the ref had no choice but to black card him.

It was one of the only decisions this ref got right against Laois as most of his other decisions against us were baffling to say the least. Our kickouts were killing us in the early stages but once we got that sorted we scored a great goal and took over for long periods after that. We missed another glorious chance of a goal a while after and had we scored it we would have been well on the way there. Our passing and decision making let us down badly but lets hope we learn from it and come back stronger next year..

Blow-in

Hopefully dosent..... by all accounts he's very poor

GAA-SMART

He has given it two years and two Leinster Semi Finals albeit by draw but still he can't of been that bad. I doubt there be a room full of lads looking for the job to be fair and I presume Billy might go from 20s at the end of this season aswell after giving two years

You're very quick to have a go at lads who put huge levels of time and commitment into these roles. Why don't you apply for the job yourself?

Barring a disaster, I'd give Billy another year or two with the 20's.

I would aswell for sure- Two years tends to be the shift is all I was saying. If he stays, I think that would be a positive bar a tanking tomorrow

A lot hangs on tomorrow night's result. Lose and he probably should go. A win opens up any possibility for him. His hands were completely tied by his late appointment last year but he doesn't have that fall back this year.
It's a strong looking under 20 team. I think we can win this game.
