Another election anyone?

SF will want one as they will blame FF for not forming a government and hope to get the protest vote that they missed last time.
FF might want one as they think they will overtake FG.
FG might want one if they think they can get a bounce from a new leader.
Independents shouldn't want one, but then I don't see much cop-on there either.

So probably.

FF spent north of €3 million and FG probably a lot more. SF depend a lot more on unpaid supporters rapping doors and dropping leaflets. FF & FG are bluffing about going for another election.

Gerry said today in the Dáil they'll talk to anyone but have not been contacted by either FF or FG.

In fairness, Sinn Fein were told in no uncertain terms they weren't wanted.  What would you have them do?
Well SF had been saying for some time that they wouldn't go in with FF or FG, and wouldn't serve as a junior partner in coalition, so they weren't exactly being accommodating to the others to begin with. All three parties ruled out sharing power with the other and that's remained the case now, but it seems nobody in the media is willing to demand of SF what they demand of the other two, they're getting off very light.

Bollocks, the barrage of SF posters, literature, the tour bus (neither FF or FG had one), and you're trying to claim that SF spent far less and that it was mainly voluntary work? Get off the cross FFS. FF and FG had their canvassers doing just the same as that, why do SF shrills always have to persist with self-aggrandisement?

Is it because they are wonderful, special, holier than thou and right about everything all the time??

Calm down petal I didn't say anywhere it was "mainly" anything. Simple facts are SF had the same amount of lit but they didn't always have to pay to get it out. Hire of a coach for a week was probably only a fraction of what FG shelled out on the Vaults for their campaign HQ and daily press conferences. SF doesn't employ any PR or external media consultants at €1k per day nor did they have to resort to FF practice in certain areas of paying canvassers and people to put up posters.

Poor nothing they spend plenty of money in others ways but it seems many of you Staters seemed  threatened that the Shinners have a different way of doing things. In saying that most of you should still hang your heads in shame for voting in the same corrupt fcukers again and again.

Oh dear!!
More hectoring and insults from people who claim they want to unite with us. ::)
Mind you I'd feel threatened by some of the Shinners' "different way if doing things" ;)

The bit in bold - considering there was never a chance of them winning more seats than FG or FF, it was clear to most that they never had any intention of being in government. Sure it's much easier to be in opposition. You can claim to have stuck to your election promises. And that's more important than delivering any of your manifesto.

A great many are not voting for the same corrupt fcukers . However most are not voting for your mob so I guess you are a little bitter but let me tell you why we ain't .

The party is like a cult
The leader who is unquestioned by members has no grasp of economics.
The are naked populists who neither are left or right
People still see a whiff of sulphur
I could go on ;
Oh yes and the O6 is hardly a socialist shangrla .  Remember your mob are shit scared of power.

If I am bitter it's with good reason - what did you do with your 90 years of "freedom" in one part of my country? After exploiting every natural resource you exported it's manhood to end up as drunks on the streets of London, locked women away to be abused in the laundries and handed the children over to be defiled and raped by animals. I'll take no patronising bollocks from any Free Stater and more power to the Shinners if they're reminding you at every turn what a complete and useless shower of fcukers you've been for 90 years.

Oh and don't be mistaking my use of "Free State" as referring to all southerners, it's reserved for that special kind of feckless, West Brit peasant that has spent the years living up to the Punch cartoon depiction of the Irish.

Rossfan

Another stereotypical diatribe.
And of course the Shinners are wonderful.
Dear God how can anyone be so brainwashed.
