Based on what I've seen so far and what I expect to happen in the remaining games:

Kealy (think Kerry will win the AI, and in the absence of any outstanding performers this year I think he'll get it)

Higgins
Marc O'Se
Enright

Keegan
Harte
Flynn

Maher
Moran

Connolly
Gooch
O'Brien

McManus
AOS
Brogan

I think McManus deserves one, but if someone lights up the semis and final (Donaghy, JOD, COC, Kilkenny, Rock, McCurry) then they will probably come in at his expense.  Connolly will probably need to hit 6/7 points over the next couple of games to keep his place too.

Ah here, why not just name the Kerry team while you're at it?  How much football has O'Brien played in the Championship so far and there's really nothing you can take from a pressure free performance against a Kildare side who downed tools so early on in the game. O'Se at full back must be another joke selection.

If the Gooch gets an All-Star this year it will be up there in the dubious stakes with Canavan's in 2005 - chosen because of their class rather than their performances in that year.

Worth picking a few outsiders.

How many people would have predicted Donaghy would win an All-Star in 2014 this time last year?

Ya but who could have predicted such bullsh*t
You can forget about Sean Cavanagh as far as he's a man!

Article on www.rte.ie picking the best 15 excluding the semi-finalists:

1 Paul Durcan (Donegal)
2 Paul Sharry (Westmeath)
3 Ryan Wylie (Monaghan)
4 Niall Cassidy (Fermanagh)
5 Karl O'Connell (Monaghan)
6 Kieran Martin (Westmeath)
7 Frank McGlynn (Donegal)
8 Thomas Flynn (Galway)
9 Neil Gallagher (Donegal)
10 Odhrán Mac Niallais (Donegal)
11 Michael Murphy (Donegal)
12 Colm O'Neill (Cork)
13 Tomás Corrigan (Fermanagh)
14 Sean Quigley (Fermanagh)
15 Conor McManus (Monaghan)

Would have thought maybe Marren and Comer would be worth including. Flynn and O'Neill lucky enough to be included imo
Even excluding the semi-finalists, Kieran Martin wouldn't have been in the top ten centre half backs in the championhship this year!
Though he'd probably deserve a place in the forwards ahead of Colm O'Neill.
Kildare's Eoin Doyle was probably the best 6 I saw (outside the semi finalists) this year.

Nowhere near it, shouldn't even be on the Sligo team.

I know we hadn't a great year but Dermot McBride was excellent at corner back in every game.

Pat Hughes was the stand out forward in the Sligo team this summer.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Agreed and Niall Murphy was the best player we had (a lad that has been mucked around up to this).

Tiernan McCann? Oh sorry I thought you said oscars

Lol - Enda Lynn would be nominated then too 😀

ONeill

Don't think Tyrone will get any.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

There will be between one and two token All-Stars. Maybe Donnelly or one of the corner forwards, or Cavanagh because he's Sean Cavanagh.

Il Bomber Destro

McNamee should be a certainty for one IMO. Done a great job on the likes of McBrearty, McManus and Cooper. There's been no standout full back this year.

Harte deserves one as well, as much as some say he was quiet today I felt he was at the centre of everything and was systematically fouled whenever he got into dangerous areas.

I don't either. Mattie Donnelly last his shout today and so too Kavanagh.

yellowcard

Harte is the one Tyrone player who deserves an All Star if they do manage a token award.

Captain Obvious

Peter Harte the most likely All Star for Tyrone. Mattie Donnelly should get nominated for a midfield one however Seamus O Shea,David Moran should win those.

A lot to be decided yet. I'd have Parsons up there with O Shea. An anyways decent final from Moran and he's nailed on. Maher not out of the reckoning either.

Even with 2 games to go I'm struggling to see where Harte might get in. His best chance is if Kerry win AI. Both Mayo and Dublin's best lines are arguably their hf and hb. Whoever comes on on top in that one could get numbers there.

I was about to say, Parson has to be far ahead of Seamus O'Shea in the race for an All-Star at this stage. No question in my mind which of them has done the most. And I don't count Donnelly as a midfielder anyways. More of a HF. Tyrone don't really do the midfield thing.
