Some crazy scorelines today.
Forwards much more willing to take on their marker knowing they might actually get something out of it?
If you were any use you'd be playing.

Wasn't in Navan for the game but I believe the lads scored 3-18 FROM PLAY.
Mad stuff.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

very valid point, kildare's third goal was as a direct result of mayo center half back avoiding tackling goalscorer, even though he was between 14 and 21.

Meath had 14 players on the scoresheet.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Good to see defenders coming up the field and chipping in.
Although, it would be nice if they went back down the field afterwards to do a bit of defending!

In the 1st half, Kildare lost their best player from the previous week and Mayo lost their All-Star midfielder.
Cribbins was 100% correct, O, Sheas was borderline.
However, I'd wager neither of them will get another black card for the rest of the campaign.

Nah Jinxy, We're going down the globetrotter route.

Paddy O'Rourke needs to chip in too or we'll just put David Bray in the no. 1 jersey.

We should adopt the classic 'last man back' system.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

The Beeb have Armagh down as scoring 12-13 today

OMG (isn't that the phrase) - "Wasn't in Navan for the game" - any this from one of the most prolific Meath posters.
Rugby on tv a better attraction ?

Sorry - had to have a go at someone - just in from Portlaoise myself  :(

Re. all the high scoring around the country - clear evidence that gaelic football has turned into a non-contact sport.

Ref Reilly bottled it in Newry today. Down keeper was dispossessed 45 metres outfield, pulled the Monaghan player down going forward. It was a clear cut decision and he chickened out.

What's the point in bringing in new rules to cut out cynicism when they're not enforced?

Where have the sweepers disappeared to ?

Big sale on blankets and continental quilts.

Offensive kicking unit '13' was particularly effective I thought.
