So inspired by the seagull lads and the parallel parking fiasco; who indeed has the worst accent in our country?

laoislad

You left out loads of options. The Wexford accent is dreadful as is a Waterford one. Also do you mean Skanger Dublin or Posh Dublin?
Good to know the flat midlands accent isn't bad enough to make the list.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

To quote the great Roger Ebert to sum up my opinion on the D4 accent : The D4 accent is "like taking a bus trip with someone who has needed a bath for a long time. It's not merely bad; it's unpleasant in a hostile way."

A Derry man created this poll and didn't include West Tyrone? You're slipping theticklemister.

Opted for Belfast, but if Skanger Dublin was on the poll, it would have gotten my vote.

Strong north dublin is pretty bad as is a very strong cork city accent.

Strong west belfast is pretty bad MR. If you get a crowd of spides hanging round and walk past them it is like a different language.

All are much better than cockney though...

Not a bad accent but a funny one - north antrim!

Say battery.... batry!

Apparently if we're in Australia, we all sound the same to them. They can't even tell if English, Welsh or Scottish. So a guy told me in the pub, I've never been to Australia.
